Hawkster Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I can't believe it. Same old story, I think we are completely jinxed when it comes to winning championships in any sport. I really thought this would be the year, start with hockey and keep up the winning into football. I'm too depressed to even think that far ahead any more. Nothing ever goes our way any more, just nothing. Quote
rjjockers Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Obviously you haven't watched Haks performances in the Frozen Four the last.......oh say 10-12 years It's becoming an annual event, the only real doubt is how it will happen. Quote
NewUNDAlum Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Well ain't that some ****. I thought we completely outplayed them after the first 10 minutes and it wasn't all that close. Zane was off his game all night and this team desperately needed a goal scorer. This team was just not built to come from behind like that. Should be interesting to see who comes back next year. Depending on who comes back we are going to have another good squad. Quote
MrEdway Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Used to be. Building a pretty good program at Omaha...he didn't inherit anything. Quote
farce poobah Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 This one is a lot like 2006 ... great team, great goalie who had an off night. (West regional champions ...) Quote

rjjockers Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hope Jack gets a DUI or a minor tonight We can't ever manage to beat top teams and players on the big stage, so let's wish harm on them and hope they get drunk and drive, great solution. Quote
cberkas Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Building a pretty good program at Omaha...he didn't inherit anything. Blais had a good team when he got there, just the goaltending hasn't been there. Quote

siouxfan512 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I'm just bummed. Great season boys, disAppointing finish. Back strong next year. Quote
dagies Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Its amazing how one player made BU good. UND had the chances Zane makes two more saves and the guys are playing for a title. Yep, we're melting down here but the story of this game is a Hobey finalist goaltender that had a human-like night. One of only 2-3 he's had all season, and he had it tonight. It's unfortunate, and it sucks, but no one feels worse about it than him, I'm sure. It's just too bad it went down this way. 1 Quote
