one edit on my walk up scheme....when the guys branch off onto the catwalks they trade their flags for huge boom boxes and when the lights come and DMX is blasting they are holding huge boom boxes....

awesome idea......the thing about the "old" walkup....how long of a walk was it?  the 49ers walk a long way with that boom box iirc....my "new" walkup would be great bc of a. time. b. distance....build up the hype!

They definitely make them still, doesn’t have to be the classic boom box either they make portable speakers with lights and everything. Plus they all just plug in the charge so not like its a hard thing for a student manager to be in charge of.

so would just the boom boxes come in playing and no PA sounds, perhaps the PA ramps up as the players reach a point on the field

good idea....when the o fortuna or ride of the valkryis ends and the place goes quiet and those few players with boom boxes are on the  4 corners of the catwalk they can hit em with the spotlights and dmx x gonna give it to ya or ruff ryders anthem can be blaring out of those boom boxes before the song starts throughout the arena to catchup....then the rest of the team runs out!

Imagine the first time someone said Clemson would have their players get on a bus to get them to the main entrance.. rub a rock.... and then run downhill... Just to make it onto the field for the game

All Bubba talks about is focus and being prepared, there is no way they would agree to anything this elaborate. Heck, they got rid of the inflated helmet and the tunnel walk. It's not going to happen in this era.

The players’ focus should not be affected by the way they enter the field. If they are prepared, the cheering and hype should increase their focus and determination, IMHO.

I'm not seeing your point on how getting rid of those two things makes the players more focused and prepared for a football game. 

I am all in on the helmet and tunnel camera, someone must have thought it was an issue.

Where was it disclosed that Bubba was the one who changed the pregame entrance?
Guessing the inflatable helmet wasn't a good fit with the pyrotechnics they announced they were adding this year in the 2023 "Improvements" release.

Inflatable helmet was worn beyond repair. There wasn’t an intentional decision to remove it. 
 

The tunnel walk / player entrance - however - still needs to be enhanced. Obvious how to do it (see Nebraska, NDSU, etc.) just need UND to implement it.
