WY with a big win vs. Texas Tech on national television. WY was hit hard by transfers and had a tough year last year full of growing pains (still managed a bowl appearance). Hopefully they keep the momentum going to show small schools can win it all too.

True. That’s the problem, though, with strong knee jerk reactions. Got to let things play out sometimes and allow for in-game adjustments.  Although the sudden resurrections of all the cliff jumpers during game threads is, at least, entertaining.

They aren't as good as they once were that's for sure. Nick Saban is the only one that's been able to maintain that top spot for years on end. A lot of teams are really good for short periods of time, but it seems to be inevitable that they fall off after four to six years. I'm thinking of USC, Florida and Ohio State in recent memory.
