Teeder11 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 One coach this morning mentioned Alex McGregor. Who is that? Could be a new kicker out of Zimmerman, Minn. 6'1" 190 pounds. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 So where does Troy Hansen rank among our recruits? Quote
Hambone Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Who hasn't signed yet? Poole and Webb are the ones that I haven't seen. Then haven't seen the Hartness twins PWO stuff come through. Quote
Teeder11 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Video on the MacGregor kid. http://www.ncsasports.org/football-recruiting/mn/zimmerman/zimmerman-high-school/alex-macgregor Quote
UND92,96 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Hansen caps off an incredible year for UND recruiting in Canada. Hard to imagine a better group of Canadians in one class anywhere in FCS. 1 Quote
Hambone Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Love Bubba's answer on why kids didn't have any other offers. Quote
UND Fan Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Love Bubba's answer on why kids didn't have any other offers.Agree -I asked the question and that is exactly the answer I was hoping to hear!! Quote
forksandspoons Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Love Bubba's answer on why kids didn't have any other offers. What did he say? Quote
darell1976 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I cannot wait for September to see how these kids do. FBS win? Playoffs? I think this could be "the" best year (as far as DI wins go) since moving up. Bubba has a lot of talent joining the team. Quote

UND-1 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 There were a few of them that got late offers from MVFC schools. it doesn't matter, people get way too hung up on that stuff. 1 Quote
UND Fan Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 What did he say?He indicated that they trust their evaluations and they don't really care if a kid was offered by others. We offer kids that they feel will fit our program and contribute! Quote
Hambone Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 What did he say? He basically said he doesn't care who offers them and we do our own evaluations that we trust more than who else offered them. Quote
UNDColorado Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 That is a GREAT answer by Bubba in regard to recruiting. Quote
Nodak78 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I really like Bubba's confidence in the recruiting process. This class will be special and some will step in and make us better from the start. Our defense will even better than last year. The offense will chew up the clock with big play options when needed. So looking forward to being in WY and getting our first win next year. Quote

If Bubba keeps on putting together recruiting classes like this, UND will be a perennial playoff participant and eventual Big Sky champion. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Studsrud, Ferguson (quit), Walker, Dranka, Greely, Carter, D. Harris, Montague, Taubs, Bolduc. What was the deal with Ferguson? Quote
Teeder11 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 What was the deal with Ferguson? I have no clue. Maybe others do. He just never seemed emotionally mature enough for college football away from home. Wore his feelings on his sleeve ( and on his Twitter feed) much like Aeron Carr did. Big talk up front. Mixed results on the follow through. Edit: All that said, maybe it was injuries and he made an informed decision on his future, and if that was the case, I apologize for my read on the situation. siouxfan512 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Poole and Webb are the ones that I haven't seen. Then haven't seen the Hartness twins PWO stuff come through. I though I read that Webb would be this afternoon. I assume Poole must have an afternoon signing at his school or something too; twitter indicates he is all in. What's taking the Hartness twins so long? Edit: Nevermind I just saw the twins are in, my bad. Quote

So looking forward to being in WY and getting our first win next year. Agree 100%. One of the many things I've noticed in the past year is the confidence & professionalism that Bubba & staff portray. They have a definitive plan, expectations & goals for UND Football... something that I think was noticeably lacking in years past. The live chat & interviews w/ coaches were great today... When Bubba says the immediate goals are playoffs & to win Big Sky championships, well, you just know that he & his staff are capable of getting it done... The foundation for success is firmly in place and it's an exciting future for UND Football. Quote
