sprig
Kind of like the Goon ss.com spelling dictionary, we need a list of Hammerisms, starting with: one-timer (when it's not) gummed up traditional circle of sticks Add more from the past, or as they come up in the future. burd
Good topic, especially after we were blessed with the traditional circle of sticks last night. Hammer so goofy, I'm starting to like the guy. Not Dewey Berquist, but a little of that off-the-wall oddness. When this thread is complete, somebody does need to make a T-shirt. squirtcoach
"Gummed up" is my drinking game trigger. Perfect for an old guy like me. 5-6 times each game. By the end of the game, I have become comfortably gummed.
R_Schneider_4
He always calls shots one-timers when they're not. Pretty sure he says Fargo Force about 5 times a game I hate listening to him he is an idiot. If I could get the radio and TV synched I would much rather listen to Hennessy. He actually know something about hockey.

Frozen4sioux
Not only does 1 have to have extremely limited hockey knowledge to be able to stand listening to this guy but to actually accept It says a lot of oneself. mediocrity, sub par performance, just An apathy for the unacceptable, has never been associated with the tradition of excellence the University of North Dakota hockey has always stood for. the acceptance of " well I guess its all we have " is truly pathetic .....and just sad. especially given the fact that there were other more Talented and experienced options who also applied for the job......that is what is so offensive to those of us who love the Fighting Sioux hockey tradition of excellence

Puffing about your own lofty standards for what other people do or should do, when what you seek is vicarious pleasure and pride through the accomplishment of others. Given the way you express yourself, I will guess that the standards you set for your own life and work are not quite so lofty. It's a game. We love that game, just as we do our alma mater, but it's a friggin game.
sprig
My new favorite was from last night's game: "Oh...the things that happen in the crease." Yet I still don't think he understands that the disallowed goal was because of the guy in the crease, rather than just the normal penalized goalie interference rule. It's the blue paint, Hammer.
