The Canad is currently horrible - sad that it has to be attached to the Alerus instead of a Hotel that actually cared about its appearance/

Typical North Dakota thinking. Now all those people who would go gamble any ways will go spend their money in moorhead and Minnesota and ND loses out again.  Our state representatives can sit on their high horse while another state reaps the benefits.  These old thinking people need to be voted out so we can move forward as a state.

Along I94 so has to be on the east end.  
 

Land purchased and bought by the tribe.  North Dakota state legislators can’t get out of their own way again.

Still open but dramatically degraded conditions. The old Expressway is a smoldering diaper that doesn't have long. New ownership seems to have gutted it a bit.

But I hear some of the entrenched ones want to change and lengthen the number of terms they can serve.   I imagine every term they will try and stretch it out further and further.   I have zero respect for the ND Legislature.

The Legacy Fund was established by vote of the state's residents.  Personally I like the current idea of using the investment income from it to buy down and eventually eliminate residential property taxes.

But we both know in 10 years our property taxes will be well above what we are paying now. Not less and definitely not eliminated.

Those not paying property tax  wouldn’t be paying much in state income tax.

the best taxes to reduce are property tax by having the state pay all school expenses and sales taxes 

need to put a limit on local governments how much they can raise any tax otherwise the state pays property taxes and counties still don’t lower their tax assessments

I am in favor of eliminating all property tax then, not just on the residences.
