Redneksioux
10% of total sales means ndsu apparel sold to the tune of 5 million dollars in one year, that's a lot of t shirts and sweatshirts in a year folks. Keep banging your chest:) So 2/3 of Fargo metro residents needed one new sweatshirt this year. Impressive!
Redneksioux
scheels is laughing all the way to the bank. Do their managers not hire ndsu football players? Shrinkage is a bitch.
FargoBison
NDSU football's media numbers are way more impressive than those merchandise numbers. Those numbers will translate to some real money.

Until then you can keep living in your own little world that you own.
Siouxphan27
I thought I had heard it all..... But, now FU is touting apparel sales as its latest claim to fame. LOL. When do the Goat Roping and Sheep Shearing hoodies go on sale?

fight on sioux
I would be willing to bet Bison sales have actually decreased since the first national championship...Bison fans keep getting more and more arrogant and Sioux fans keep getting hungrier and hungrier for success... I like that formula for the Sioux!
bisonboone11
So.......GT signed a home and home with Weber St. Wasn't real nice to contradict some of the main talking points of the FU faithful....Home and home only acceptable with other top schools (Weber is not), must have 6 home games and an FBS away game (GT has assured NDSU can only have one or the other in 2015). Oops. Still can't see a home and home being signed as long as GT is at the helm of FU's athletic department. They'll meet in the playoffs before a contract is ever signed. How did the Weber State home and home affect that scenario in 2015? Weber State will be in Fargo in 2015. Unless you're assuming that they will buy it out like Montana State did, but then the buyout would mean that date was open again to get another home game to replace Weber State. If anything, the Montana home and home would affect the 6 home games and an FBS game in 2015 since NDSU will be going to Montana that year. Guess GT threw that part of the argument out the window a while ago. It did however dispel the notion that NDSU would only sign a home and home with a team that, in the FU faithfuls' minds, had "earned" it. Didn't Faison sign a home and home with MSU earlier this year? It takes 2 to negotiate.
82SiouxGuy
Didn't Faison sign a home and home with MSU earlier this year? It takes 2 to negotiate. Faison sent a home and home contract to Taylor more than 1 1/2 years ago and Taylor didn't want to negotiate it at all. Faison has to fill the schedule somehow, and if Taylor won't deal with him he has to deal with someone else. Besides, the UND deal with Missouri State is for 2014 and 2018. The UND and NDSU open dates didn't line up for 2014. UND still has open dates for 2015 and 2017, the same years that UND proposed to Taylor. jdub27
Was that after Faison and Muss said in the Hearld that they wouldn't play unless it was every year? Well after, Faison was looking for an every year deal before UND had a conference. Faison sent Taylor a contract with the terms he requested. Maybe it got mixed in with the paperwork that GT continued to give Bohl access to after he had already accepted a new job?

So you're saying Faison is always moving the goal posts? Now Faison realizes that being in a conference means that a every year game is unrealistic. Seems to me that knowing this, Mr.Faison knew Gene wasn't going to sign a every year contract. So what's that tell you?

Seems to me that implies that GT has moved the goal posts since he hasn't agreed to what he wanted all along, a one time home/home contract. From BV: if they want to play us then make the playoffs This is how I feel. Put a good enough product on the field and then you can play us. Obviously Incarnate Word, Weber St, Prairie View and Ferris St has a good enough product to play the mighty Bison but won't play UND. Anyone, anywhere sure except if you are UND. Bison fans are so funny.

Since 2010 UND has now signed home/home games with 3 MVFC teams but NDSU clearly finds a way to avoid UND. No 6th home game, not good enough, Roger Thomas cancelled the series, can the excuses get more pathetic...oh wait 2014 is only 2 months old. However, it doesn't appear that they are doing it today. The chat normally runs from 3-4.

Faison wanted every year. Taylor said every other year. Faison then said, okay to the every other year. Faison sent Taylor the contract that Taylor wanted, but Taylor refused to sign it. Taylor changed his story and he moved the goal posts. That actually sounds like negotiating in bad faith, doesn't it?

Time passes and those dates don't now don't work. You say Faison has sent Mr Taylor a contract but McFooly is stating that it's the other way around and Faison is sitting on it. I don't know for sure and I doubt you do either.
Siouxperfan7
I think that if this game is announced (hopefully) that it will hit everyone by surprise. No one really knows what negotiations are going on except for Faison and Taylor. I mean, how mean how many people knew that NDSU and Weber were in talks for a home and home? It just happened.
