scpa0305
Lee was 0-6-1 against UND during his career. Yes you are correct, but an awesome goalie in his defense. If it wasn't for Eidesness he would have played for the Sioux.

SWSiouxMN
Last year they played Mankato at home to end the year and 3 years ago they play Tech to finish the year. Nevertheless, an exciting schedule and can finally get to see CC play at the Ralph so I check off seeing all the WCHA teams.

AZSIOUX
2012-2013Schedule details released: http://www.fightingsioux.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=205497328&DB_OEM_ID=13500 2 great non conference series in bu and nd! Wish they could have had a 4 team subway deal but sometimes it's not that easy when scheduling. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those 2 early Alaska games regarded as " extra " games?? Due to the long travel or did I hear that incorrect at some point? Thanks NHL draft tonight (1st round only) and the rest tomorrow! Would be great to see Schmaltz go tonight in the 1st round.
yzerman19
I don't like 3 games in 8 days vs Anchorage, with a flight to Alaskato boot. Recipe for at least one loss to a team that many other likely TUCs will sweep, thus hurting our Pairwise

Me too, however, I think his down year (regular season) will push him out of the first round. After his awesome rookie year, there was talk of him going top ten. Recipe for at least one loss to a team that many other likely TUCs will sweep, thus hurting our Pairwise it's probably a little early to start thinking about pairwise implications. that said coming out of those first three weeks at 5-1 or 4-2 will be alright for this club. I don't envision a slow start for this squad with all that is coming back.
Siouxperfan7
SO just a side note, all of our road games have the city where they are playing the game: Minneapolis MN, Houghton MI, etc. Who was the smart guy who put the Notre Dame games to be played in Notre Dame IN??? Wow!!

ScottM
So there is a "Notre Dame, IN" ? Always thought it was in South Bend?? Interenting. My bad! It's an incorporated entity that sets the campus apart from South Bend, even though most people don't see the distinction.
The Sicatoka
Schlossman has tweeted that ... The Ralph has replaced all of its TVs in the concourse with flat screens. That's a smart move for them. All those old TVs have to be energy hogs.

All those old TVs have to be energy hogs. Would be a smart move if they would ever tune them to out of town games so patrons can actually watch something in the concourse in between periods. Realize that some need to be tuned in for advertising, but how about throwing actual college hockey fans a bone by having on a few games. passit_offthegoalie
I like that BU series early. Two wins there would really bump us up in the rankings as Boston teams always get so much love. The all-important Pairwise rankings are produced by a mathematical formula or algorithm, it has nothing to do with how much love Boston teams get from the media and in polls. Did you think the NCAA tournament was based on a poll? Because there was a commenter on Brad's blog that made the same mistake, and you sorta remind me of them... Sodbuster
The TVs were getting up there in age...hopefully it's part of a larger HD upgrade. SiouxForever
HD is to come in year 3 of the 5 yr deal. How do you know that? What's your source? I'll believe it, when I see it. And why year 3 out of 5? Bollocks!
MissSioux85
Official news release from FightingSioux.com UND will also receive $1 million in rights fees over the length of the contract with live game broadcasts moving to high definition in the third year (2014-15) of the agreement. Also, via Schlossman on twitter As for what you really want to know.... a penalty clock is finally coming, possibly for this upcoming season.
