They list their top 10 USHL Prospects and UND commits are four of those 10?

It pizzes me off that our coaches can't recruit real talent, while Sandy rakes them in.

EP has Zellers listed as committed to BU. Is this a misprint or had Zellers committed to BU previously?

Yeah he de-committed from BU like a month or so ago.

EP is not always up to date. They had Michael Emerson as committed to UMass last year when he committed to UND. So it happens.

Still very confused why he committed/uncommitted from BU. Still only a senior in high school.

Don’t know if it’s fact or speculation, but I heard on a podcast after his decommit that chatter in the rinks was that he wanted to play closer to home. 
 

Not sure why he originally committed to BU in the first place though.

Just asked this question to a couple people and it sounds like with BU recruiting a lot of similar forwards to him, he didn't know where he'd fit. I'm certainly not upset lol.

Damn that’s stacked! Some fun years upcoming hopefully!

I heard Potter possibly MSU and Hagens bros Michigan? All rumors but it’d sure be nice to land Potter or Mooney. Either would turn that recruiting class from “excellent” to “elite”.

Beyond "goaltenders 2 and 3", we might have the 26 man roster for fall 2025.

Starting with the Boisvert commitment, has there been a hotter stretch for this program in the past 17 years (post Oshie / Toews)? This has been lights out. Of course, I don't think the best player of the past 17 years is in the group, but I don't think the overall "ranking" has been higher during that stretch.

With the "last 17" disclaimer, and recruit reputation, no.
Actual on ice ... we shall see.

Other "hot runs" were
- Parise -> Toews (give or take a year or two) and
- building the 1980 and 1982 rosters.

Oh, I was just picking what I'd consider our "best". I think Panzer has a really good shot at being a quality, four-year college hockey player.
