burd Posted Sunday at 01:56 PM Posted Sunday at 01:56 PM Would Kollar/Goehring be considered a killer goalie tandem at UND? If so, the last? Quote

Either way, I don’t know much about this kid. Undrafted but he did well in the ushl this past year. May fall in that “tough to play against” mold. 3 Quote

Yes, I'm wondering that as well. I guess we'll know for sure once the final two D pieces are announced. Maybe they're throwing the bag at some D studs knowing that they have to replace Liv's and Wiebe's minutes and skill? The coaching staff was able to land a couple big fish last year with limited time on the job...I have faith that they are working to do that again. Quote

One thing I have noticed this year compared to last, is from a F perspective, who are the McKenna, Martone, McQueen, Reschny type of guys? We all know the high-end Defensive players that the hockey world feel will be playing college next year. Was Belchetz the only one? Rucks? But are they really being talked about as likely to head to college? I follow UND recruiting fairly closely, but even now, really couldn't tell you who the big fish are in next years CHL to NCAA F class. 1 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago It goes in cycles; last year was F heavy; this year is D heavy. There are some just blah years. Quote

Who knows, maybe when talking to some of the forwards, the potential recruit asked about the available money, and UND figured if that was part of the initial conversation, they would rather go a different direction. Would love to be a fly on the wall regarding Chyzyk’s conversations with recruits and parents. 1 Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago So Mackenzie is Strathmann replacement , Boser is for Zmolek, Carels for Wiebe and Rudolph for Livanavage, not so hard to be a GM. Quote

Filtering on WHL Forwards who are not committed (or who I don't think are). Being realistic about UND's chances with Q / OHL guys. Stopping at Cooper Williams (50), because they could have brought him in his next year if they felt he was ready. 20. Liam Ruck 23. Marcus Ruck 26. Chase Harrington 32. Mathis Preston 33. Beckett Hamilton 36. Zach Olsen 37. Tyus Sparks Looking to see if any of those 7-play college hockey next year. Quote

Both were 100+ point scorers in the WHL this year, nothing left to accomplish production or development wise at that level. You'd think whoever drafts them would push them to the NCAA. Quote
Tbone Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This offseason, what has been, so far, the biggest forward commit across college hockey? Portal or Major juniors? Quote
