fightingsioux4life Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Well, we are getting our moneys worth this afternoon! LETS GO SIOUX!!!! I'll get my money's worth at Sam's Club, I don't want to get it here! Quote
YaneA Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Andrew Kozek: Channel your inner Andrew Kozek and get that game winner!! Quote
Blackheart Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 How long until they cut away to the Double Dutch Jump Rope Championships? Quote
Smoggy Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 and now we have to go from trying to hold a lead to actually playing hockey again and scoring a goal. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I'm just stunned. This game should be OVER Seriously what the bloody !@#$ was Eidsness doing so far out of the net!! That is just disappointing. Quote
sIoUxPeRsTiTiOuS Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 How long until they cut away to the Double Dutch Jump Rope Championships? LOL! Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 and we'll go to OT, shades of Duluth-Princeton. How did Eids get so far out of the net, again? Was Eids looking for a hot dog and a Coke?!?! Couldn't that have waited until after the game? Quote
01grad Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 How long until they cut away to the Double Dutch Jump Rope Championships? HAHAAA!! I just can't help but laugh... Quote
Happy Gilmore Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 This team needs to learn to play for 60 minutes. NOT 59 MINUTES AND 59.9 SECONDS!! Quote
jimdahl Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 How long until they cut away to the Double Dutch Jump Rope Championships? I was similarly thinking... NOW Sioux fans will be happy that ESPN doesn't cut away from an OT game in progress that has gone dramatically outside its timeslot (unless of course ESPN does cut away, in which case I really wouldn't want to be the person listening to that answering machine on Monday ). Quote
sprig Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Seriously what the bloody !@#$ was Eidsness doing so far out of the net!! Cutting down the angle on the point shot, that went way wide and got a fortunate bounce off the end boards out the other side. Sioux have been dominating,; they'll win it in OT. Quote
Greenz Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 just remember guys, we're just as much in it as New Hamp. Quote
bcblues Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I think we actually play better in "scoring mode" and now we have to go from trying to hold a lead to actually playing hockey again and scoring a goal. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 just remember guys, we're just as much in it as New Hamp. do the guys know that? Did you see how dejected they were at the end? Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 do the guys no that? Did you see how dejected they were at the end? And the Boston College Eagles looked just as shocked when we tied it in the 2001 NCAA title game. And we all know how that ended. Quote
jk Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 BE was out to cover the shot from the point. Whether intentional or not, the bounce right out the other side on that shot from the point is the kind of bounce you pray for if you're UNH. Actually the Sioux played really well down the stretch in this game. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 It's time for the seniors and the team to step up now after such a demoralizing game-tying goal with only a matter of seconds left. Let's GO SIOUX!! Quote

NOW Sioux fans will be happy that ESPN doesn't cut away from an OT game in progress that has gone dramatically outside its timeslot (unless of course ESPN does cut away, in which case I really wouldn't want to be the person listening to that answering machine on Monday ). Neither would I! Quote
USA Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Cutting down the angle on the point shot, that went way wide and got a fortunate bounce off the end boards out the other side. Sioux have been dominating,; they'll win it in OT. I agree. That goal isn't on Eidsness. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Seriously. I want to throw up right now. They just had to put a little pressure on at the end there. Instead they sat back and now we are going to OT and UNH is going to have the momentum. Time for the guys to step up and show some heart! Quote
neoflex Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 The coach that invented Prevent defense should be shot! Let's go Sioux....we need this game! Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Neither would I! That answering machine tape would probably break every FCC rule in the book if it were aired! Quote
Bob in Wisconsin Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Remember Duncs missed open net in period 2? Damn. Quote
