Yes they don't score as many goals as Jason Robertson but outside of that they can skate and keep up with the pace, WIN faceoffs, PK, Play PP in a pinch. (ALOT of things that I don't think you can trust Robertson to do frankly) Quote

atxsioux Posted January 2 Posted January 2 He did put up a 100 point season 2 years ago hahah. I'm confident he can be trusted in the 4th line role they'll likely have him in. I did see Pinto's name thrown around. If JT still has injury issues in late January I wouldn't be shocked to see him slide in as an injury replacement. Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 JT Miller dropped the gloves with the biggest guy on the ice in the Four Nations. He will eat a puck for red, white and blue. He has been a long time captain in the NHL. Perfect 4th line player. 1 Quote
nascar99 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Kleven brutal turnover tonight for the Senators. Senators fans not happy with him. Wonder how long he'll be there Quote

Wonder how long he'll be there Was it the one at center ice? Looked similar to Mackenzie’s turnover vs. Czechia that he was ripped for. I do think Mackenzie’s was more due to how late it was in the period, but nobody covered for him when he rushed. His pass get’s through and people are praising him. Kleven’s had more to do with nobody else was there to back him up, so dumping it would have been the play, unless it was another play altogether. Quote

Kleven just hasn't been great this year for the Senators compared to his level of play he showed in the playoffs last year Quote
cberkas Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Pinto goal and Sanderson and Kleven with assists Nelson with two goals and assist in the same game Kleven with a fight because there is always a fight after a big clean hit these days. 1 Quote

Reminds me of a guy named Bill Ring, who played with the Niners during the time I lived in the Bay Area. Ring was thought to be too small and too slow to play in the NFL, but he became a key part in the Niners’ emergence as a dynasty and a big fan favorite. Teammates and everyday fans understand what that kind of work ethic and team loyalty can mean. Good for Troy. Quote
