Excited for the kids to hit someone with a different jersey.  Also wishing and saying a prayer for their health in what is a violent game, and a long season ahead.

I'll say 49-14 still.  Looking forward to a suffocating defense, and the playbook opening up a bit from last season.

We should win big, ideally a fast start and get rolling. However, I can see a slower start because of the “Fog of War” for the first game. That being said we should win big if we are a championship contending team playing at home. Since they like to run and we may run more as we get a healthy lead….game will move fast. I’ll scale back my initial guess and say we win something like a 41-13 score with them scoring late against our third or fourth team defense. 
 

I do want to see how improved  Javance and Jack are and see limited drop off with nonstarters getting in.

No, but if this program is to take the next step and contend for a Valley and a Natty that needs to be the expectation in games like this against sub par teams.  Beating a dog crap Eastern Michigan team last year shouldn't make them a legit team that can walk into the Alerus and even sniff a competitive game.
