Giving up a shorthanded goal the last minute to lose the game.  Guess Smaby was right.

I love that the ASU fans got so bent out of shape by Smaby speaking the truth.  :D

They were talking about it after the game last night

That game had me very worried.  Didn’t think if we spent that much time in the box that it would come out well.  If we take care of business at home against St. Cloud and Miami we can win the Penrose at home and not leave it to the last series at Western.   Both series are going to be tough though since both are now fighting Duluth for home ice.

Color guy has completely lost all credibility as a person who remotely understands the game of hockey

Medak was a mediocre college hockey player, so yay, life consistency, I guess?

So darn proud of the boys for getting the job done. Hoping Zmolek and Reschny will be alright. Hoping CC can help us in some sort of way, a win, heck even a tie.

Just when UND was close to being all healthy. :glare:

Looked to me like after he tripped Resch, he rode him into the boards to maximize the possibility of injury - I’d say that’s one that should receive supplemental punishment…

I wanna see it again but it looked to me like the UMD guy just got tied up with Reschny and lost his footing and they slammed into the boards together.

There’s a shocker-Cleveland was the one who rode Reschny into the wall.

And then also cross-checked Croal five times in the head at the 2nd period buzzer...the scrum that Zam started with the late hit.
Refs missed that one too.

Cleveland entered the transfer portal and thought to himself—CC doesn’t play dirty enough for me. Where can I go and be a goon and fit right in?

He enters the portal every year. Where to next? Miami?

I wonder if Zmolek’s absence as a leader was felt tonight?   They seemed off stride for the first 40+ minutes.

Played better the first 40 tonight than we did last night, except for the early penalty trouble we had both nights.

Safe to say this squad/program is used to playing without him.

Really helps that Laurila doesn't look or play like a FR.
He can eat up some minutes easily.
