Popular Post Oxbow6 Posted Sunday at 02:40 PM Popular Post Posted Sunday at 02:40 PM Give ASU credit. Even though they didn't match up skill wise top to bottom with UND they weren't afraid to play race horse hockey. Both games this weekend were about as entertaining as you'll get. 7 Quote

That said, does the staff eventually start planning for NCAA tournament play when increased commercial breaks change line line-matching dynamics? Or is that “overthinking” and to be avoided? I can’t claim to know anything about coaching hockey, but that seemed to be Hakstol’s biggest plague - he didn’t/couldn’t/wouldn’t adjust from his 4 line rotation. While Hak certainly had some great teams, the 4 line depth of this year’s team seems capable enough to just be rolled one after the other. 1 Quote

Goon Posted Sunday at 04:41 PM Posted Sunday at 04:41 PM Check out the faceoff numbers for the UND centers. Elis Rickwood is winning 60% of his faceoffs, that's huge when you're on the PK. 3 Quote
cberkas Posted Sunday at 06:24 PM Posted Sunday at 06:24 PM In a year or two I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny Walker goes from the ASU D1 club team to the NCAA team as part of the coaching staff. Quote
Godsmack Posted Sunday at 07:35 PM Posted Sunday at 07:35 PM Johnny Walker, Jarid Lukosevicious, and Ben Blood are some of my favorite names from college hockey. 1 Quote

Scratch Posted Sunday at 10:00 PM Posted Sunday at 10:00 PM BU also goes to the frozen four every year, I doubt burd was serious but can’t imagine their coach is in danger Quote

I would bet that they lose a good chunk of their top scorers to pro deals this offseason too...even though a few probably need another year. Hutson, OMac (sr), Eiserman, Boisvert, Harvey, Boumedienne are all flight risks. Quote

I can't think of a single addition from this offseason that I would trade for any of those three players. I even donated my Sacha Boisvert t-shirts to Goodwill. 1 1 Quote

Having watched almost every game of theirs over the past three years, I don't see him cracking the lineup on Broodstreet. Just throwing it out there to see what others think. Hutson, Eiserman, and Boisvert, sure. Quote
brianvf Posted yesterday at 03:09 AM Posted yesterday at 03:09 AM I'm guessing he's got a few years of European pro contracts in front of him. 2 Quote

Gwoz would have stood on the dasher or walked over to talk to the ref. Odd he didn't call the ref over. 1 Quote
