The way our offense looked at the end of last season I'm okay with Danny being back.  At the end you could tell that Isaac was upset his play calling was being questioned by us lowly serfs, and was likely on his way out of town.  Good for him being back in his beloved Big Ten with his Big Ten mind.

I still think they need to utilize Javance in some packages if he's still on the team (honestly haven't even checked).  Watching Montana and Illinois State a bit last night, open the playbook and let's score the football.

Would be fine with either Danny or Gordie, but there’s a third option too… let it play out. Important, important decision upcoming …

What's door 3?

I have learned there are certain accounts on here I believe and trust and certain ones I ignore when this sort of messaging comes up.

I will just sit back and watch what happens. We'll know a lot more once spring ball starts.

Need to come up with a 4th down package that can mimic the success we had with Quincy.

didn't ndac win nattys with average wr's ...bc they could run the ball?

Yes but tough to mimic their clutch QB play, offensive line talent, strong defense and depth, so getting a few play makers at WR seems like the more realistic way this day and age, imo. Also seemed like they mostly had at least one very talented WR.

Interesting numbers.  Got into the red zone much more this past season but didn't convert enough, same rate as 2024.

Numbers show Isaac was 10-14% lower in TDs from Red Zone than Danny. Why? Was Quincy the diff? Or......

What's a good number for top 5 FCS teams??

These numbers confirm what most could see was happening: UND was far too inefficient in the red zone the last couple seasons under Fruechte. It cost them games. This should change under Freund.
