Not sure I want to see them make a FG. That means we failed again in the red zone. In addition I have such little faith in our FG unit that the thinking on every possession inside the 30 should be four down territory. Play calling should keep that in mind. We’ve missed multiple FGs in the last two games that are the equivalent of missing a one foot putt in golf.

Agree, our defense is good but we can't expect it to hold playoff teams to 10 or 15 points every week.  Offense doesn't need to be incredible, but competent.

They did beat Army early in the season on the road. Not sure how relevant that is, but.......

And Army Beat Kansas St.  Obviously you can't just compare games, but they are a very good team and we will need to play a full 60 minutes.  We need the same Defensive Effort and the Offense needs to be better in the first half.  If we are forced to kick FG's they need to be made.

Hot take: whether field goals are made or missed, simply having to attempt field goals will lead to a loss. Need to score touchdowns to win this game, not field goals.

Tarleton will be a much better team than TT. However, if you look at their last two competitive games (ACU and Austin Peay), they gave up 200+ yards on the ground. 
 

The recipe for the UND offense, once again, is simple: run the damn ball! It’s playoff football! 😁

I would also say that recipe has to include enough (successful) passing so TSU can't load the box.  Can't be one dimensional.  Get to the 4th quarter with a lead, and then unleash our stable of running backs on their tired defensive line.

Have you sent this to anyone at the athletic department?  They obviously don't know how bad it looks.  Maybe try that instead of coming on here and bitching about it each week.

Actually there SHOULD be a couple people where this is their biggest worry..

obviously schmitty.. the players and all the other coaches have bigger fish to fry 

my guess is there are roughly 1500 business/marketing students at und that could do better.. Ndsu obviously does.. UnD hockey obviously does..
