Nearly all polls now have UND football in the top 10, some in the top 5. Awesome victory last weekend on the road at Southern Illinois, but now onward to Indiana State (2-5).

Indiana State is 0-3 in the MVFC thus far but was only down 10-7 at halftime versus NDSU last weekend. UND has to prepare and be ready to go.

Game is at 3 pm on 10/25/25 at the Alerus Center - get out there, tailgate, and support this top 10 team and program!  Get loud when UND is on defense on ALL DOWNS! Quiet when offense is at work. We got this.

There are discounts on group tickets.  Everyone get out there and FILL THE CORNERS

LETS GO HAWKS!!

PREACH!!!!  Nice to have positive energy with this group.

Love having backups in on the road in the 4th quarter of games!

Traveled to the Indiana State game last year, part of the five-game end of the year skid. 2:00 game, showed up for tailgating around 10 a.m. and literally not a soul in sight. Later met up with some of their hardcore tailgaters and was told it's not a football town. We had a decent showing of fans, they had less than 1,000 in attendance. I believe there are at least two former UND coaches on their staff. They do have a 15 foot tall statue of Larry Bird in town.

As they should.

Kind of think the days of preserving redshirts are over.

In this era of no restrictions on transferring/unfettered movement, kinda foolish to red shirt any players with any hint of potential.

Makes sense.

If the kid can play, let him play.

Heard Reusse say yesterday the NCAA is talking about going to 5 years of eligibility straight up.  No redshirt or juco bonus years impact anything but can play for 5 years.  Not sure how serious or close that is.

Quick search shows they are considering a "5 in 5" model.  Would grant 5 years of eligibility over a 5 season span.  A similar plan is farther along for DII

I am old enough to remember when ISU came into the Alerus as a 28 point road dog...

...only to take the game to OT.

If you truly want to be the biggest dog in the fight you completely obliterate teams like this, unlike those boys from Fargo who pissed around for a half.

You have to win by 20+.  Respect the opponent, but lets put up 50 on them.  I'd love to see #8 as QB the entire fourth quarter.

100% Agreed!

.....but why not number 6? He has some big fans on SS. (I'm just here to stir the pot! :whistling:)

Another big improvement this year has been the continued development of Isaac fruechte..  I’m hoping to see a lot of handing off and letting the North Dakota moving company control the game.  Should look like the Saluki game.

one of my biggest complaints last year and during the Danny freund era was lack of willingness to do the easy thing.  All the trick plays and forcing passes against teams that we would have crushed just by running the ball.  I am still looking for the Q short yardage replacement play.

if we continue the trend of last week I expect 400 yds rushing and an easy win.  If we forget that.. maybe we will have another OT shootout.

Has there been any word on how Higgins has looked? Any future potential with that kid? Wouldn't expect him to get any looks, just curious if he may have some potential to get snaps in the next year or so. Especially since Romfo is a Senior and we don't know what JTJ will do heading into next year.
