Other than FG kicking, I don't think there is a special teams area that isn't performing at a level that warrants complaining.

other than FG's....kinda a big deal....just ask our win column how it would look better with a 4 instead of a 3....

If a coach is unable to see the fire infront of him, it doesn't matter how good he is doing, he should be told hes doing a bad job and make a change to fix it. If I my job did 80 percent correct and 20 incorrect, I would be fired.

I know a guy who only is successful at his job 33.1% of the time ... and he ain't gettin' fired. ;)

Same thing only different.

To many players hit for power, not enough players go for contact anymore its quite sad. I remember when .380 or .400 was a great ba, now they consider .280 good.

Or could it be that more pitchers toss a baseball 100 MPH, and that is especially true for relievers and most teams recognize the danger of letting an SP go through a lineup 3 times

I think its more an issue with everyone trying to just hit HR instead of just getting on base. I think they have always thrown hard its more players wanting hr the on base.

Average fastball speed in 2002? 89.0 MPH

Average fastball speed in 2025? 94.3 MPH

I don't think I've ever mentioned Romfo in a post, let alone said anything negative about him. 🤷‍♂️

However, can we please talk about how much of a dictator the man in charge is? Sure, he takes a bit of feedback from his close allies before making decisions, but he doesn't listen at all to us, the ones doing the voting. I'm actually quite worried about what's going to happen in 2026 if he continues down this path. I don't think we'll ever see the voice of the voters heard again. It's as if you don't donate enough money or have enough power, your opinion doesn't even matter. The results so far are a mixed bag, including quite a few decisive mistakes. And for those who previously saw success and were at the top of the ladder, it's been quite the fall from grace. Schmidt needs to get back to being a man of the people.

Fortunately, the UND athletic department still runs like a socialist country.

Isn't the synonym of "head coach" ... "benevolent dictator"?
Their way or the highway.
Schmidt has the keys.

Not appropriate!! Politics can't be brought up. This is a Sports Forum Site!

I love Sioux Sports Forum. We got a thread made by an 80 year old man calling people cream puffs, football talk, baseball talk, politics. It doesn’t get better than this!
