coachdags
I believe the first record is the overall record vs. dII teams. The second is the in-region dII record. Your always smarter than me..
Siouxperb
I can't get the game on internet feed-is anyone else getting it?
Diggler
It's amazing how lazy UND is with their internet feeds. They don't even care. It's not that hard to have a good feed, but they just flat out refuse to put in any effort towards it. Here's the Mankato feed

UND92,96
Great game last night by Amy Mahlum! It had to be one of the best games of her UND career. It was disappointing giving up 40 first half points and leading by just 5 at the half, but Mankato was unconscious from 3-point range. One of the Best Played halfs of Basketball by two teams I have witnessed... Great job by the Sioux Ladies to use their bench, wear them down, and put it away in 2nd half..GREAT GAME. Amy sees the floor better than at least 8 men on our mens team..she is absolutley fun to watch...
iramurphy
I believe that Kindred has a couple of quality underclass athletes whether or not they are DII-low DI I don't know. Does Bunning go recruiting with Roebuck or Glas. I wonder why Dorn went recruiting with Ruley???

UND92,96
It was kind of a weird game. In reality, UMD had no business staying within 30 points of the Sioux, especially since their field goal percentage was in the mid-30's, but they were at the free throw line constantly. 25-35 from the line. They don't do many things well, as their record reflects, but they can make free throws.
SiouxMeNow
Regardless - CONGRATS on the 30-0 Ladies!! Lets keep it rolling!! We've got the conference tourney AND the regional locked up! How about we see if we can jam EVEN MORE than 3,100 in the Betty over the next couple weeks

In case you have not heard, the Bison are D1 now and much better than the rest of the teams in the region.
UND92,96
UND will play the winner of UNO and USD in the semi-finals of the NCC tournament. Considering how horrible UNO looked in their two games against the Sioux, I'm shocked they were able to finish as high as 4th place in the NCC. UND92,96
Things are going to be very interesting in the next week in terms of who can wrap up the last 2-3 spots in the regional. As crazy as it sounds, the NCC could conceivably be looking at only getting two teams in if certain things happen, despite the fact that the NCC is 29-9 vs. the NSIC and 12-3 vs. the RMAC. Augie was 7th last week, and had a bad loss to USD. The two RMAC teams behind them won their games. Augie needs to win its first round NCC tournament game, and maybe even beat SCSU in the semi's to wrap up a spot. You have to assume UND, SCSU, Wayne St., Regis and Northern are all in regardless of what happens this week. That leaves Augie, Concordia-St. Paul, Kearney, Metro and even UNO to battle for the 6th, 7th and 8th spots, not to mention some other unexpected team who could theoretically win a conference tournament and get an autobid. What a travesty it would be if Augie were to lose early in the NCC tournament, and the NCC would then be looking at two teams getting in, compared to three each for the other two conferences... Smoggy
If we lose the first game of the NCC, would we still be the host school for regions? I know we have the best record, but sometimes a late season loss affects a team much more than an early season loss.
UNDBB75
It would be a huge advantage to pack the Betty, but past history shows that people (outside of the real fans) don't support post season tournaments for what ever reason. Maybe this team has generated a special bond with the community and that will change. With 3 outside teams coming in there should be no reason to have less than 3000 in attendance. One other group that fails to show up in large numbers are the students. For some reason coming up with the $5 or so for admisssion all of the sudden is hard to find. With or without a full house the Sioux should not have a problem winning this week end.

With the EDC and then Class A state tournaments going on at the Alerus as well as the Michigan Tech and first round WCHA playoffs over the next two weeks, there will be a lot of competition for spectators (and parking places). sultan
Congratulations to the Sioux women on their undefeated season. It sure is fun to watch a game in front of a full house . Watching the basketball shows on TV I see where the Bison womens team didn't win any road games this year and won't reach double figures in wins. The Bison men only won 2 road games this year. Amy was crying on her TV show tonight. I guess I don't blame her. Believe me there are lots of pros and cons with going DI. Besides the financial commitments needed to go DI there is also the possibility that a lot of your sports programs might take a real dive (NDSU is finding out about that this year). I hope UND does what is right for UND and doesn't make the move because other people have. Let's all get out there and fill the Betty these next 2 weekends. Go Sioux. Hopefully the hockey boys sweep Tech this weekend.
