But I’m very afraid this is rigged for candidate not on your list, but still in the Ralph. The more I look into some of these, the more I like. I’m very high on McFarland 39 years old with 7 years experience in the NHL and was on Haks staff in Seattle. Played USport and has won in two of the league’s in the CHL. 2 Quote

yzerman19 Posted Thursday at 01:49 AM Posted Thursday at 01:49 AM i did look, for the record, and it was by a house on the 2300 hundred block where he had lived in a basement when he went to school there in the 70's. Not sure if we parked there exactly. I think he parked on the street behind it. I dunno, I was little and its been 40 years. 1 Quote

If we are going to take the past 10 years of Berry's time here let's at least compare the last 10 years of Duluth. They are 3 years removed from a regional final and 4 years removed from a FF birth and had a high probability of being the first team to 3 peat the year covid shut us down. I don't think the wheels are falling off as fast as they have at UND. Agree. Duloot shows flashes and I believe are on the right track again. Quote

ksixpack Posted Thursday at 02:07 AM Posted Thursday at 02:07 AM Can somebody please explain the love for Chyzyk and Smaby? I don’t get it…one is the GM for Waterloo and one is the coach for Waterloo. Neither of them have ever won anything as coach or GM. Is it because you loved the way they played at UND? They don’t have the pedigree to be mentioned in the same breath as any number of folks that have applied for this job. If you want pedigree look to someone that has won at the USHL level, college level, and pro level…there is a few that have and are applying for this job…these two haven’t won anything yet…they are very young and their time may come but please, let’s wait for them to earn the right to be considered for this position. 1 Quote

UND1983 Posted Thursday at 02:09 AM Posted Thursday at 02:09 AM If they hire Jackson we will be a laughingstock amongst those who actually know how hirings & firings go. A school doesn't fire the head coach to hire the long-time assistant. It just doesn't hardly ever happen, and for good reason. 2 Quote

I don't think anybody is lobbying for them to be THE guy right now (at least i'm not), but they have promising careers that might make them nice staff additions supporting a head coach and being groomed Quote

Correct and yet he never was brought in as an assistant with that resume. But we are to believe that Chyzyk and Smaby are in position now to do so?…maybe some day but long way from that right now. 1 Quote
