I've never one to believe a guy is "injury prone" as injuries don't follow trends very often, so I get the sentiment. I think Big Z is a helluva player and until he gets hurt again, I'm 100% willing to rely on him as a player.

Maybe not injury prone in the sense his body can’t take the stress, but just by the way he plays the game all out, blocking shots and taking hits for the team, it makes him susceptible to more injuries.  Kind of like the running back that won’t go out of bounds and would rather deliver a hit himself rather than do so.

Me too, but if he does get injured, I hope he’s wearing a cool jersey design when it happens.

Totally agree with this.

Took a ride on up to The Ledge earlier today.  Didn’t see anybody up there, but I did notice that some of the more frequent occupiers have places reserved.  I guess many committed ledgies have chosen to spend some time down below to be with their families during this difficult time.

The fact that he’s had a hip surgery already makes him injury prone, just based on previous tissue damage that required surgical intervention. Combine that with his style of play and the other fact that he’s missed nearly 2 full hockey seasons in the past few years, it’s safe to say he is very injury prone until proven otherwise. If he can hang the whole season, this may be the deepest 8-defenseman unit in the country.

Don't the players have a vote for captains?
If so, might be hard to do that already being that the roster isn't even set and some players aren't back in GF yet.

They’ve made the announcement a bit later the last few years.

I get what you're saying, but I disagree that a prior injury indicates future result. Makes sense about the prior damage, but he's young, healthy, and athletic and is, from all accounts, going to be ready to go. I could be wrong, but I don't believe the two injuries were connected. Anyway, I get the point, but I just want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Totally agree. He's a huge cog in that d-corps. He's as steady as it comes. We're so much better with him and will be all season if he stays healthy!

Diagonal NODAK wordmark is solid. The bland ass "NORTH DAKOTA" wordmark just isn't good. This is why I love most NHL jerseys, very much prefer the logo/crest on the front instead of wordmarks.

If they look like the 1993s or the Nashvilles it'll be vastly underwhelming.

Hopefully our success is better wearing them now than when they were originally worn and the subsequent Nashville debacle.
