In this week's get to know article about #4, he said he deleted all social media. Good call! Easiest mental health boost available. Just curious if that includes this site....

I’d be surprised if any of the team looked at this site.  Too many experts here.;)

How great of a pick up was Rickwood in the portal?   Was showing his worth early in the year with his experience and faceoff ability, but he has taken it to a new level after Christmas and really since coming back from his injury.  Love his game, so unselfish.

Was really apparent when I saw him make that pass to Ollie that he almost scored on vs Denver.  That was an NHL level of confidence in that play.

Chyzyk/Jackson masterclass per usual. To take over in the offseason with the program in a state of massive flux where a drop to 30 in the NPI would have been possible, and make calculated & necessary additions to get this team to the top 3 in the NPI, bravo to the staff.

I can see where guys from the locker room might come here to find out whether there’s a divided locker room.

I’d just call gfhockey in that situation. :whistling: The gobc is tuned in to that kind of stuff.

I may have asked before, but who coaches faceoff draw skills on this team?  The faceoff schemes as well

Use to be Ulmer but he's gone I believe.

Pretty impressive stats from Liver.
This is from after the Friday game, so not including Sat results.

Quote
  • Livanavage became UND's highest-scoring defenseman since Chay Genoway (2006-11) with his point on Friday.
  • He is only three points shy of being the highest-scoring defenseman in the nation. Denver's Eric Pohlkamp and Minnesota Duluth's Ty Hanson both have 25 points.
  • He is tied with Minnesota Duluth's Max Plante for the best plus-minus in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference with the plus-17 rating. Livanavage is a whopping plus-15 in his last 10 games.

Sat next to his parents at a series early in the year. Very nice people.  They were so blown away by the Ralph.  His mom made a comment that it was the first time they had ever watched any of their kids games, and not sat on a plastic bench.

A week off to prepare for the dog fight.  And to heal up.  Anything on Zakreski?

I don’t believe he’s skating yet so highly doubt he’s that close. Maybe first round of the NCHC playoffs but that’s a pure guess

As my previous comments proved I was never a big fan of coach Berry but Jackson and his staff keep proving the change was correct. This team plays a way different style then previous years. With limited time look what they have put together , the future looks bright for UND  hockey.

Just watch "Thru these doors" every week, and its easy to see where the difference is.  No soft talk, no pitty party, just straight talk to players about what is expected of them, and the coaches.  Play for the man next to you!

No points on Saturday. Hopefully, Jax uses this as a learning opportunity and he benches Liver next weekend.

It's a bye week coming up. No Hockey Game on January 30th and 31st.

I think the post was made tongue-in-cheek, knowing that "benching" a player for a weekend with no games was inconsequential.

I know where we could get some if she needs the nostalgia

It looks to me like the npi is more volatile than pairwise was this time of year and that there is nothing we can do to prevent penn state from jumping us given their upcoming schedule and the huge bonus points they’ll get for just going 2-2 the next two weekends. Gotta hold off western for the last 1 seed
