scpa0305 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Honestly it’s the way we play…chip it off the glass and go forecheck. The problem is the game has completely changed…all these teams have skilled dmen that can carry/move pucks. We’re literally just giving them the puck back. I’m afraid this is it. Perron is obviously gone, maybe others too. Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted March 22 Posted March 22 At the end of the day Berry needs to go. #culture 2 Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Prime times pissed away, destination flops, hosted tourneys absent... How much more can UND keep expecting the fan base to keep shoveling their hard earned cash or highly compounded credit towards? 1 Quote
siouxweet Posted March 22 Posted March 22 The NCHC absolutely sucked this year as you only had 2 legit teams everyone else sucked. There is a reason the conference did not have a good OOC record and that is plain and simple 7 of the nine teams were not very good. Quote

We used to forecheck the hell out of teams but that was yesteryear. 3 Quote
Blackheart Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Time to put away the Sioux gear until October…Crap. Boys played well for stretches but offensive zone turnovers killed them. Couldn’t clear the puck on D and just not enough sustained O zone time to be effective. Gotta hand it to Western; they made more plays than Sioux and got the reward. Interested in seeing how many people show up tomorrow’s championship. 1 Quote
tnt Posted March 22 Posted March 22 So is the game in Austin against Michigan State set in stone. Might be very embarrassing for Berry if they can’t get a bunch of fans in a smaller arena. Quote

When it was announced UND would be playing Michigan State in Austin, TX, I simply shrugged my shoulders and knew I wouldn’t be shelling out money to attend. I used to get excited upon the news of destination games but the apathy has since kicked in. It sucks to have to admit this. 3 Quote

Frozen4sioux Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Honest question? Just saw some posts on the fbook site about how we'll the team played. How do these people even have internet access at the group home after lights out? My gawd its baffling UND fans have gotten this ignorant? Really hoping its just trolling the page. 1 Quote
SuhakiYeahYeah Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Bad news: We're done at the x Good news: We're done at the x 1 Quote
tnt Posted March 22 Posted March 22 In retrospect, losing to Omaha might have been more of an eye opener for people who can’t see the forest for the trees, which appears to be the case for the administration at UND. It seems like it is just as baffling how Chaves keeps his job when the programs at UND are so dysfunctional. 1 Quote
tnt Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Fully expecting a UND player to say they are glad they gave UND fans another chance to watch the team play in the Frozen Faceoff at the “X”. Quote

I passed on the $25 ticket tonight (excellent price by the way) and watched it on tv instead because it's much easier to just shut off the tv and move on. Quote

UND had homerink advantage in St. Paul - stands full of green and white. WHERE THE HELL WHERE THEY DURING THE GAME?? Last one at the X - you'd have thought they never would have wanted to sit down. They got a little loud eventually but then we get within 1 and they're staring at their phones again. Pathetic... Not much to cheer about when they would continually pass the puck to W. Michigan. 2 Quote

Those are the “real fans” that Chaves will listen to when he extends Berry another 3 years. honestly that site is god awful. Those people are basically mouth breathers. 1 Quote

Disappointed? -Very much so but I kinda sorta managed my expectations about this game (as well as for tomorrow had we won tonight) going into it. Very proud of TJ and how he kept us in it. Feel terrible for the players. "Kinda sorta managed my expectations" We've been doing this way too many times in recent years. It's time for a hard reset of this program. It's time to start setting high expectations instead of lowering them all the time. Apathy is starting to set in with some of our fans. That is alarming. 3 Quote
