This hockey team needs guys that want to be here.  If players are more concerned with making a quick dollar they should go.  I say this knowing nothing about what the locker room was like this year.  I'm guessing it was a dysfunctional mess and kids are bailing partially because of it.  Let's get the locker room calmed down and back on track

I think Nick Saban told two guys to hit the road when they approached him about playing for Alabama if they got paid a certain amount of money.

Probably a big reason he retired (although I think he was getting close to that point anyway).

OMac calling anyone that is hilarious.

Pretty sure that's the source calling O'Mac that.

Ahhhh. That makes A LOT more sense.

Said this to a couple people.... wasn't happy about losing Perron and OMac, but couple those two with Sacha, that was a very bad hour for UND.

Not sure I will miss Perron or OMac. Neither are hard on pucks and they commit too many turnovers. My lasting memory of Perron at UND will be the lazy turnover in the third period of the final game which contributed to our loss to WMU.

it would’ve been nice for Boisvert to stay but in reality he was only here for one be more year. Good luck to him but his picture will never be up with the UND greats.

God, he had a terrible turnover in the opening minute of Friday night game up in Kalamazoo. The Broncos didn’t score but it kinda set the tone for the rest of the game. It was a pass you’d expect to see in beer league.

I'm honestly okay with it. I'd rather have guys that want to be here and are willing to bleed green. I want the MacMillan, Pattyn, Mario guys that will lay their seasons on the line to block a shot, and then be willing to take a game off and lay some leather on someone that takes liberties with one of our guys.

He's also a pipsqueak. His career is going nowhere.

You could tell he was a scrappy player who liked to mix it up. Certainly is disappointing to see him go but from the sounds of it, he may have some anger issues and probably will be for the best.

He would be an old time fighting sioux hockey player would have flourished under hak

Our reputation is going to get slaughtered

It seems like the reputation has been getting slaughtered the last few years and now we are seeing it's scary results.

I don't care what a lot of people say about Omac. He was still our assists leader while playing in the wrong position; he could have had a great senior season if playing as a center.

You're right. Sacha seemed to have it all, however.

He was the easiest to stick check on the entire team. Hopefully he's replaced with some muscle.

When it was 5x5 and Perron was on the ice did any every sit up and take notice thinking we had a good chance to score?  He just wasn’t a difference maker even strength. Maybe he will get there but he was a disappointment to me.

If folks were comfortable telling Schloss that UND is absent on the recruiting trail, it's already butchered, wrapped, and in the cooler.

it could have been a concert?

Why do so many have to speak in code or so minimally? Explain comments or don’t comment and leave it to speculation

You cannot play center in college hockey if you do not win face-offs or puck battles in the corner (especially in the d-zone). That's why he was playing wing. Puck possession is crucial and if you fail to be reliable in those two areas, you do not deserve to play center. He'll play wing soon enough at his next stop, too.

Going to bed without a write up about them returning, writing was on the wall. All three were not properly utilized (less so Perron), allowing the idea of going somewhere to creep into their minds. And that's just what we saw with no behind the scenes stuff.

Don't let your posts on here become fodder for opposing teams to recruit against us.  Anything is fair game these days.

Advice to UND. Take a lesson from Western Michigan and Sioux teams of the past. Stop recruiting spit weasels. We just lost a couple of those. We need size and muscle in the college game.

Ever see OMac go hard into the boards? Me neither.
