Enga goes on about being professional, then whines about shots on goal stats and that the refs drop the puck wrong? Guess St. Cloud is looking to put up a shots on goal banner at their arena. I would be pissed at Berry if we had the same outcome as St. Cloud did and he complained about those two things. Questionable penalties in close games, perhaps, but shots on goal? UND fans should buy up all the tickets for the rematch in St. Cloud, and bring some imaginative signs. 6 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 18 Posted December 18 Mister Enga’s squad blew three leads Saturday. He should mind his house. 4 Quote

Questionable penalties in close games, perhaps, but shots on goal? For sure. It was annoying when we were swept by Cornell and DU, but at least Goehring didn't go on a radio show a few days later and complain about how the stat crew messed up the time of possession stat or how the linesman seemed to call more offsides on UND rather than the opponent. Or what about Enga complaining that coaches shouldn't talk to opposing players? What is that. Remember when Brett Hextall and Gwoz at DU were yelling at each other during a game a few years back? Hextall wasn't just chirping their players...he was chirping Gwoz when he skated past their bench too. If I were a fan of SCSU, I'd be embarrassed that one of the coaches were whining about that worthless stuff. 2 Quote
hockeytherapy13 Posted December 18 Posted December 18 In the interview, Enga insinuated that Berry instructed Schlossman Friday after the game to write an article about Thoreson running the goalie and how he played in USHL. Somewhere between 25-30 minutes into the interview, I can’t remember exactly where. But that’s a different level of grasping at straws and chucking sour grapes. Quote

The guys on the Denver bench were trying to keep a straight face. 3 8 Quote

Schloss talked on his pod before the series about how Thoreson was a known agitator in the USHL and NCHC fanbases will not like him. Being so wrong about everything is going to be Enga's legacy with UND fans. Quote

The kind of guy you hate to play against but love to have on your team. 2015 was last season we had a true agitator in the lineup. You could maybe add Malone and Gardner to the list but I consider them as "give no quarter, don't start nothing, won't be nothing" guys. Prpich Kaip Radke Hextall Mario Pattyn Quote

I fixed your post for you your statement was way too limiting to the subject matter at hand. Quote

The game has changed over the years so he may fall more into the Malone/Gardner category. I believe we will look back at the end of the year and realize his injury had a bigger impact on the start of the season than we thought. He has a motor that doesn’t quit and he’ll lay a hit any time he can. That sort of stuff is contagious and directly leads to other teammates doing the same thing. 7 Quote

Come on. Of course St Cloud thought he sold it. They ain’t exactly impartial judges. Quote
