I am usually less enthusiastic about a series with Miami, usually because of their perpetual doormat status...  I even miss Mr Bean behind the bench..   But this year it seems like we could be the monkey that Miami gets off its back.

#BringBackHak

I wish we had Hak like play on the ice...  and post season vigor...  but original Hak has passed onto other things, a comeback would seem like a retirement plan and that brings it's own entrenchment that might be best to avoid.  What we need is Hak 2.0     younger, hungry, relatable to players, less of a grandfather figure....   Throw in some Dean Blais thinking and Eades passion and the way forward would be fun...   a coach like that may be sipping coffee in Omaha and planning life strategies...

So, I won't be home to watch the game till probably 7:30. Is there a way to watch it from the beginning on nchc.rv?

Should, yeah. Mine allows rewinding. It’s not great but you can figure it out by going all the way back and inching forward to get through pregame.

Has everyone forgotten just a couple of seasons ago when Miami marched into Grand Forks with all of like 3 wins on the season and won the Saturday game against UND, scoring I believe 6 goals in the process?  I remember…because I was there to see it!

No likely to miss any goals

I choose to remember good things, although with all things in the rear view mirror they get less clear and more unrecognizable.  But yeah, blow this weekend, a distinct possibility, and B-Rad should sweat most nights...

I like to remember the good times too…2016 is getting a little far away in that rear-view mirror though.

We turn around the season this weekend

Unfortunately the same could have been said in Duluth a month ago and instead things went the opposite way.

I saw an AWFUL Miami team take a Saturday night game from UND two seasons ago in Grand Forks.

Berry always finds a way to play down to the opposing team’s level…and I bet he does it again this weekend.

Berry is playing this weekend? I didn’t realize he still had eligibility.. :)

It's almost like it's really hard to win the national tournament lol. Think of all the blue chippas on these 6 teams since 1998. Even since 2012. Zero titles.

We could be Maine or Michigan.

Denver has won 3 of them since our last in 2016. That is the statistic that grinds my gears the most.

And don't think it doesn't matter in recruiting.

Of course it matters. But they are the outlier is what I'm establishing by my comment.

I don't mind the look of these forward lines, although it is a complete mix up again.  However, the D-pairings are also completely different, and when you have Montgomery on the 2nd pairing, you know you are in trouble.
