Alot of coaches say that. Sure, saying the individual is less important than the team/program is true, but putting jerseys on the back will not promote selfishness as some would try and suggest. For colleges it’s a cool thing. As a player it would be an amazing feeling to see your last name on the back of the jersey for your team.

Coach Haug and Bostick have already gotten some early results with this TE room, even with this group being young and beat up. 
 

Of course, Jerry at QB helps a lot as well.

Not a fan that Kansas State is 1-2 with the only win vs UND. Lost to Arizona last night, Arizona is 3-0 wins over Hawaii, Weber St, and Kansas St. Kansas St is -9 pt spread on the year with a 1-3 record. The Army loss really hurts them too, their defense could not get off the field in the 2nd half. 2nd half vs Army the offensive plays run were 60 for Army, and 4 for KSU. 64 plays ran and they were only on offense for 4, that is just crazy. The back breaker was the Army attempted squib kick that hit a KSU guy and became a Army recovery.

The kicking game and poor play calling are what let us down today.

The defense was great most of the game, but they can't do everything.

I think the group needs to be 6-2 going into game in Vermillion.  If they lose at UNI and are 2-3 then we are looking at a race to 6-6 and some what ifs.

Yeah, bizarre that UNC with 1st and goal inside the 3 couldn’t punch it in for the win in the last minute, then settle for the field goal from inside the one instead of going for it on the road.

This is a good football team. We should be in the playoffs, no doubt. They just need to figure out how to close a damn game. So close to being 3-0 but here we sit at 1-2.

Other than not closing games out, I think the most frustrating thing so far for me is the RB rotation. Leigh is a good pass catcher but he’s not a very good runner, imo. Would rather see a heavier rotation of Seidl and Ziebarth.
