No idea what to expect in this series for UND.
Their weekend with RMU wasn't exactly confidence inspiring, especially since BSU usually plays UND pretty tough.

UND coming off a "sweep" of RMU.
BSU had a win and shootout win over STU following their big win over UMN the weekend before that.

Hopefully the 5th can play and maybe Croal or Strathmann can give it a go as well.  We'll probably hear more on that on Wednesday.

Agreed, hopefully we get a player or two back this weekend. Definitely need a sweep at this point.

At the end of the day the team needs to play 60 minutes #culture

"It's a situation where" when playing "hard and heavy teams", "at the end of the day" the team "needs to play 60 minutes"

I agree with you.  What can we expect with this team?

When lines are consistently changing, what level of comfort do the players on the line have in knowing where to expect assistance, where to expect players to receive a pass or receive a drop pass, and where to expect movement on and off the puck to create space for the attack.

I don’t think I have ever seen a coach change lines as much as Berry does , how do you build any confidence in you line mates when you not sure who they are. I know they have injuries but he has done this every year.

Plus we don't get to come up with any cool names for the lines when they are constantly changing.:D

Apparently we already have Bemidji on the schedule every year through 2031 (its the only series booked for both the 29/30 and 30/31 seasons so far). On the podcast last week Schloss said UND's top priority is to get MN and Bemidji on the schedule every year. Does anyone know why? Do the decisionmakers all have cabins there? As a fan seeing Bemidji on the schedule does not spark joy.

Really need to stop playing them yearly and work a scheduling agreement with St. Cloud, Mankato, and Bemidji. Where UND plays BSU and STSU plays MSU, the next night they switch opponents. Also not playing Bemidji every year means they could get other former WCHA teams, more Hockey East teams, or B1G teams on the schedule. It just feels like UND has to play them because they are close.

100% agree and have said this for years. Guaranteed two boring games even for the best of Sioux teams.

This is one of those times where Berry is darned if he does and darned if he doesn’t. The 5x5 offense was absent and the lines had no chemistry rolling. Plus lines were changing due to one injury after the next. So they needed to change in a hurry. Safe to say this coming weekend we will see a lot of the same lines as Saturday unless Jammer is back in the mix.

The James-Boisvert-Strinden line will stay the same for sure because that was a line that was generating.

We’ve had a lot of talk about Omac getting rolling which obviously needs to happen . But the person we badly need to get off the milk carton is Wilkie. Because if he starts to get some to drop then it seems like his line with Swanson and Perron will pop. Swanson is still struggling to make plays at this level so if he can start finding lanes to give Wilkie and Perron the chance to showcase their shooting then maybe we can finally get some 5x5 consistency.

If there's been one consistent with North Dakota vs. Bemidji State men's hockey series, it has been overtime.

There's been an overtime game in six-straight series between the teams and in nine of the last 11.

Is there no proven solution for the dreaded left wing lock or whatever you label these defensive juggernauts? And why don't this method hang banners? Bemidji should be a fire hazard if the method was so ludicrously successful.
