Wait for Schlossman’s late March article, which will read something like ….

”#17 North Dakota would have been ranked #12 and playing in Fargo this weekend had it won a November 22nd game against RMU in regulation instead of overtime.”

I am waiting for xG has UND at 11-1 through 12 games.

Blaming injuries though is a cop-out IMO.  Yes, it plays a some part for this display/result, but we should still be lots better.  Lack of compete (2nd period tonight comes to mind…) has zero to do with injuries.

I was talking about how Jammer's injury will prob be long-term...because it seems most of the injuries have been long term lately.  Wasn't talking about tonight's results...we should have easily still had the horses to hang 5-6 on RMU.

Robert.  Effing.  Morris.

REM.  UND, quit listing the number of/ who our NHL draft picks are.  It just creates more frustration and creates unfair false expectations by UND supporters when we play so called inferior/no name player teams.

I think something that can't be overlooked is how well our goalie played.  TJ was fantastic.  He was 5 seconds away from giving his team an undeserved regulation win.

Hard to fault him…much…but it seems his pattern in general though is giving up 3 goals a game. That just don’t cut it anymore, fair or not.

And he has a real bad habit of loosing his stick..like, alot.  The one tonight was knocked out of his hand by a shot...and not a real hard shot.

When is this team gonna sack up?  They disappear for long stretches against Augie, Kato, Cornell, and now Bob Morris.  The expectation has never been that they win every game (trademark DU) but that they compete and are hard to play against for a full 60 minutes.  That's it...you do those things and the wins and losses will take care of themselves.  F*ck!

No pun intended but they think they can just “skate” at times and still win. Does the coach have no accountability?

I found the perfect way to relax after this game...2005 Frozen Four against Minny; the 3 Matt's (Smaby, Jones, Greene) are featured in the pregame and Gary Thorne and Bill Clement have the call.  If you want some old school, in your face, Fighting Sioux hockey this game will do.  You even get a young-ish Erin Andrews interviewing Erik Fabian during the first intermission.:D  Spoiler Alert:  Fabian and Zajac both score twice in a Sioux victory!

Thanks for depressing me even more.  2005 is now considered “old school,” I guess?

Go back and look at his faceoff numbers from last season. That's the reason. He won (.432) percent of his faceoffs.

Being a center is more than just faceoffs and Omac is better at center than wing. But he really isn’t great at faceoffs so I was blown away that they had him take the opening faceoff in OT (and of course he lost the draw). Wtf? Have schmaltz or Wilkie take it and then just trade guys out. Plus having Swanson on the penalty kill? The second he stepped out on the ice during the PK I was confused and then less than 20 secs later we allow a goal while he’s out there.

and FFS break up the 7-15-21 line. They keep trying to make it work and it’s going nowhere. When they finally had 26 and 21 on a line together things started happening.

I’m not a great hockey mind and I don’t get too low on the staff like a lot of people do but there were decisions made tonight that were mind-blowing.
