Really? - Berry's needs to get a team to play the full 60 every game.  We often take time to coast and lose focus - this is a huge problem - see last year's regionals where for some reason we didn't come out of the locker room to start the 3rd.  His record in regionals is pathetic.

I thought I laid the sarcasm down pretty thick, but I guess not.

He has the same # of NCAA titles as a head coach as Berry though.  That'd just be an even trade.
If we're gonna poach a DU coach, it would have to be the best coach in the world.  David Carle, of course.

I think I saw that his NHL winning percentage with Boston was .715...not too shabby.

5 years as a head coach, 2 frozen fours, 1 title and not missing the national tournament. Not really the same as Berrys record. However, if you took Berrys first 5 years vs Montgomery’s, I’d take Montgomery.

I thought all we cared about was the Natty?  :whistling:

1 title = 1 title  ;)

I do like national titles but being consistent and getting to the national tournament (and winning some games) is the first step.

That's what we had with Hakstol every year, but every season there was a Fire Hakstol thread regardless.

I saw that number and noticed it was regulation wins, was he 0 fer 38 in OT?  I tire of people manipulating everything to twist my whiskers.

The "Fire the Coach" diatribe is a running joke on message boards,  likely never change as long as fans live vicariously through the actions of others.

You’re 100% correct that people always wanted Hak fired and now they are the same ones that want him back.

I admire your memory skills, I remember my opinion on the matter, but who said what, not a glimmer of individual recognition.
