UND-FB-FAN Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Major determinant: -Can UND run the ball well - if yes, then UND wins. If not, then UND loses their first game at home this year (in embarrassing fashion to a 2-4 team). Of course, turnovers would be the only thing to offset this. Whichever team wins that battle always has the upper-hand. Quote
Dustin Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Betting line on this one? I would guess around 14 with O/U around 50. Quote

forksandspoons Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Appears the crowd should be pretty big tomorrow based on tickets available. Defense needs to get to the QB early and get the crowd going behind them! Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Again, UND’s passing game and defense is what it is … (hint: bad). Key is can UND run the ball, and based on what USD did to UNI last week, and UND being at home, I’m optimistic going into this one … UND *should* win. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 UND -11.5 and 54.5 O/U Side note NDSU a 2.5 point home dawg Quote
Longtime fan Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Did a little research on unds opponent. Not a good team. They have held onto Farley much like und has held onto bubba….but longer. Sad but true. Both are equally bad. My guess is that this will be a game that fans of both sides will be left with head scratching calls. Who will have less questionable calls should be a betting line. Anyhow. N Iowa’s offense is bad. Have only scored more than 17 once this year and that was against a non scholly team. If I was a betting man I would say they score 20 tomorrow. Only because bubba will bubba. They have two big boy RBs (6’4” 230 and 6’1” 225 ) that could expose unds smaller DL. Not necessarily HR hitters but big enough to power through for 5. Passing game is average. Nothing to sweat about….fingers crossed. Their D is average at best. STs is weak. At home. This game should not be within 3 TDs if und is truly a legit top 15ish fcs team ?Will bubba bubba this up ? 3 Quote

Thank you. If UND is legit they hold UNI to single digits and put up 35+ points Quote

Go and look at where UNI ranked in MVFC football budget 10 years ago vs now and compare to UNDs budget change in that same span and then tell me how it’s apples to apples with bubba and farely. Quote
