nodakgirl93 Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Need a statement win tomorrow. BSU is a hardworking team sure but UND also needs to be that. Need the talent to show up. Quote

bcblues Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Finding a way to win against a quick and desperate to win team is never a bad thing. Getting behind to such a team is another story. Still a win is a win. 1 Quote

Esoteric Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Why would Jake encourage the other team to review something. Quote

He's starting to rush the puck out of pressure more, too. Signs of Stecher, which someone here observed a week or two ago. Quote

gfhockey Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 If there was one last thing to complain about Blake made that ot goal all about him he never would have scored it unless he got the pass Quote
Oldguy Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Stickhandling and passing tonight was sub-par. The boys looked a step slow too - I found myself asking "where the hell is the oppostion"? (meaning, where are the green jerseys) too often. However, this team found a way to win, which they have been doing. Need to put a better start together tomorrow, but a good ending tonight. Quote
tnt Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Would have loved to see Blake turn right to Livanavage to recognize the great pass, but I think Blake has kept his celebration the same since high school, so just happy we won. 1 Quote
Username Taken Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Good games from Berg, Johannes, Livanivage, and once again Strinden. I’d switch Strinden and albrecht. A line of Jamernik, James, and Strinden is more of a scoring threat. Quote

That thought has crossed my mind, though I think this is a pretty tight team. Noticed also that Perron often points immediately to primary assist after scoring. I like that kid too. He'll make some major noise for us before long. Quote

We could see tonight a lot of mental errors. And people rightly point out that BSU plays up to UND (why is that?). Some are even encouraging not to play BSU as often as UND does. I like playing them, I would rather have BSU in the NCHC then St. Cloud. Quote

How often do you see defensive backs in football pound their chest after one pass breakup, when they were burned the rest of the game? Quote

It's inevitable that teams will devise good strategies against methods that have been working, especially against 1-ranked teams. Our guys will adjust to those strategies too, given time. This team has learned a lot about themselves in a short time. 1 Quote
neoflex Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Not great for the pairwise, but when you win, even in overtime, I'll take it. Suffering through the last years play, I'm excited, what this team can and could do. 2 Quote
Username Taken Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Looks offisides but it also looks like Pyke, when he wasn’t even on the ice I don’t think. I’m confused. Quote
