SDSU will have the throw and catch similar to what we have just seen. our pass D has been suspect the last 2 games. The main QB for Boise couldn't hit them.

It's one game against a FBS team but he hasn't  been good. We have WRs that can't compete at this level and DBs that can't cover at this level.

People are talking like we are losing to Morningside. 

Boise is not a top-notch FBS team, but they still have 85 scholarships and the depth that comes with it. And even if we had played the perfect game, it still wouldn't guarantee a win.

Too early to mail in the season.

The issue is, this happens every big game for Tommy. FCS or FBS opponents. Every big game he goes missing and forgets how to play football. 
 

I’ll add, the whole team and coaching staff seems to do this in big games though.

I would agree. But history with Bubba (and there’s plenty of it) doesn’t leave with the feeling that we can compete with the top teams. It just feels like the same old same old.
