Brzezinski will be handling the draft.

I suppose this is the busy time for all the GM/assistant GM/scout types.

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will visit the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

It was reported that the Vikings were expected to pursue Murray, who officially became a free agent Wednesday after being released following seven seasons in Arizona.

The belief across the NFL is that the 2019 No. 1 pick will likely end up with the Vikings, Schefter adds.

The Minnesota Vikings are signing quarterback Kyler Murray to a one-year contract, his agent told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

The agreement includes a no-tag clause. Murray is expected to earn $36.8 million this season, with the Arizona Cardinals paying all but the minimum salary.

I mean regardless, Kwesi's drafting cost this team mightily, and you are going to need solid draft classes for the next few years to try and right the ship, all the while not wasting Jefferson's prime years by bringing in band aid free agent fixes.

If Kyler wins the job and has one helluva season then they've got QB decision 2.0.  Kyler will be 29 when the season starts, and has missed a ton of games with injury, so he'd have to light the world on fire to get a deal.  At the same time another desperate team could throw money at Kyler once free agency hits, and desperate teams for QB play make desperate offers at times (Kirk Cousins and the Falcons line one).

Pinch my nose and grab Cousins.

Maybe with a rock solid OL. He still has cement in his shoes. Looking forward to what Murray brings in terms of offensive variety along with the current talent. Would have liked to have kept Nailor.
