Whereas Wisconsin had an extra week to recover after a UND beating.

Methinks that Wisconsin win will pay dividends.  Badgers looking to be a contender.

I was thinking the same thing last night watching the first two periods. They looked really good and controlled that game.

"crowd" ...

to be fair it was better than past years but... they aint competing with Wild... Vikings... gopher football... Twins postseason (hahahahah)

#1 team in nation vs their "rival", "exciting" team

Pathetic crowd considering.

Even the bandwagon fans won't show up on a Thursday night.

Checked in at times last night and saw a pretty sparse crowd for such a "big" game.

Maybe it is just me but does the lighting seem darker at Mariucci??

Heard on a podcast that people said the lighting was the biggest difference with the changes to Mariucci.

UMD at Cornell is on ESPN+, and they look pretty disjointed.   Took a couple penalties, gave up a couple goals, and finally getting some pressure late in the first period when Cole Spicer takes an awful, textbook boarding penalty.  2-0 end of first but could be even worse.
