Watch him switch to juniors around Christmas.

Wouldn't shock me in the least bit. I fully believe Bubbs thought he wasn't ready for college hockey this year and we'll see.

He was the extra forward tonight against Merrimack but didn't register a shot or point.
He did, however, take 2 penalties.

I’m embarrassed about CC’s sweaters last night. My buddy asked me at the game last night if they were wearing their practice jerseys. Terrible. Those sweaters oughta be put away and never worn again.

CC had an opportunity to sweep Minnesota tonight and blew it. After a fantastic first period where CC outscored the Gophers 2-0, things fell apart for the Tigers. They took 5 penalties in the second, got outshot 19-9, and Minnesota scored 2 power play goals. So basically, the two PK units were out on the ice so much, you have the non-PK guys sitting on the bench for 7-8 minute stretches, getting cold, and when they finally do get back on the ice, they’re ineffective.

Also, CC blew two 2-goal leads tonight, at home. You don’t deserve to win if you do that. Credit Minnesota for not packing it in on either time they fell behind by two.

The Halloran/Wilkie/Copeland line was fantastic this weekend, accounting for all but 1 of their goals this weekend. That’s great but if they want to be successful this season, they can’t be a one line team. Opponents will quickly key in on them. Also, CC went to the well too often on the PP tonight; they kept trying to set up Wilkie on the left point for the big one-timer but Minnesota, after getting torched last night on that, made the adjustments and scoped that out and deflected several cross ice passes. They need to not be so one dimensional on their power play.
