In the air tonight by Phil Collins? Not sure about the time, but I do know they play it pregame.

"In the Air Tonight" though is only played pre-game on Fridays and I believe it's usually about 12 - 15 min prior to game start.

Horseshoe for us.......looked late......

What a disaster 2nd period.....again...

Cripes, what is it this season and us with the 2nd period?  Brad needs to work on his post-1st period/pre-2nd period pep talk.  Come to think of it, looking at our nearly .500 record (taking into account our big two ot winds vs CC this wknd!), he might also want to work on his post-2nd period/pre-3rd period pep talk as well.  Other than that...

Mercyhurst 6-3 final over Canisius College.  For those keeping score at home, that’s a dozen goals on the weekend for the Lakers.

Absolutely amazing/uncanny how all these "hot" goaliessuddenly go un-hot when the good guys are not playing them.  Unreal.

We are being outshot tonight. That’s a good thing right?

Maybe shots-wise but don't believe we were ever outshot per shots on goal, were we?  If not, we're still #1!

We barely beat one of the worst teams in college hockey. I liked the effort this weekend, but this team has a serious scoring problem.

No offense (pardon the pun;)),  but what was that about the Lindbergh baby.....

So with the big win tonight, UND's pairwise goes from 20 to 23?...WTF?  #math

I'm guessing it's because of results elsewhere, the fact we're at home, the fact it was in ot, and the fact it was against CC (what are they, like #30 or so in PW?).  That's how you slip a notch or two despite winning.

Winning in the OT (first OT like UND did) counts the same as if they won in regulation, so that would count the same. Everything else is correct, winning against a bad team, CC is #37 at home gives you a slight bump, but you more or less are playing defense. Other results weren’t kind to UND. It’s still a step in the right direction, solidified their ranking, just need to keep winning. We won’t see the other results go the way it did tonight as often.

The good news is that NoDak is still 27 spots above Canisius College...

Nobody cares but Minot State and U Mary just finished a gong show of a hockey game.  It was better to watch than this game for a while.

I thought Dale Lennon may jump on the ice and fight someone.....

Howd that one turn out?... i was under the stands getting ready for a beer league skate and it sounded like some thunderstorm ... it was rocking up there... sadly few stayed to witness the old man greatness in the other rink.

Minnesota swept Notre Dame so that probably didn’t help us.

Cool tribute to the '59 Natty champs

Would be nice to see an era-appropriate banner up there for 1959 as opposed to continuing to pretend that the Brien logo existed then.

R-E-L-A-X, Oxbow6.  All UND likely needs to do is go 6-0 against DU, UMD, and St Cloud State and they’re right back in the NCAA playoff picture!

Re: pairwise.    We will have our chance with an 8-game stretch beginning January 25 to make a move on the PW.   Our key to the tourney door, IMO.

And MM jumped me.

If only the weekends had been reversed and UND had had time to watch the Mercyhurst game plan for defeating the giant that is Canisius College...

When Canisius runs the regular season table and doesn't get in, it will be looking back at Mercyhurst.
