NORTH DAKOTA VS. wmu GAMEDAY THREAD (FRIDAY)

I don't have a great feeling about this weekend.  I'm feeling a split.  They are getting some weapons back and seem to have no problems scoring goals.  Also, their only weakness is their goaltending and I have a feeling whoever plays this weekend will put up decent numbers.

I felt the same kind of way earlier this week, but then I think more about the team. They are grinders that rely on effort and that hasn't really slowed much even in their losses since the BSU series. Coupling that with bad goaltending on WMU, I think that effort can lead to some greasy goals.

Hopefully is is not one of those "hot opponent goalie" weekends.  ;)

I have a pretty good feeling about this weekend, and I think we may see a stick salute (if we can rack up some goals against a weak goalie).

It’s wrong. Schlossman just tweeted  the lineups.

To summarize, Thome starting, Hain back in, Weatherby with Mismash and Guch.

Ap had scheel in goal. Guess it's all screwed up

I was hoping you were right the first time, not gonna lie...

App doesn't have Hain in,  so at least one of them is back

Greasy goals?  I hope you’re right.  I haven’t seen too many of those this year.  Especially considering our possession numbers.

Greasy goals?  Better grease the posts.....

Sorry- not familiar with the term greasy goals. I hope it means we score lots of goals.

I think we turned the corner and we get back to sweeping teams at our house!

Agreed.  WMU has been putting up big numbers for goals and UND lately has made a lot of goalies look "hot".
Hopefully the UND defense is solid and the WMU goalies continue with their sieve ways.  :)

Jones and Hoff both still out of the lineup.
Berry throws a curveball with Thome starting in net.

Allison for WMU was on initial lineup but scratched right before warmups.

I hope that doesn’t bite us in the ass starting Thome
