I believe it would be a mistake to think there were only 3 applicants. Did you learn that from this board?  
Unless you personally heard that from Chaves, Armacost or a selection committee member I wouldn’t believe it.

Meh… no proven success. UND offense was fine this year but was a dud against good teams (Iowa State, NDSU, SDSU, and even Illinois State to a degree).

I’m just confused about the Fruechte love. A year ago he was just an OC for Winona State. Comes here, does fine. Most fans are annoyed with the QB situation. Seems to be well liked by the players. I met him once and he was nice. But what has he done in that time where he is who we want as our next guy? Was the Adam Theilen tweet what pushed everyone over the edge? Theilen going to come be his OC?
