Feff Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Not sure why UND was sitting back like they were. They seem to have dead legs. 1 Quote
bcblues Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 5-4 final. Although we really did try to give that one away. TCOS! Quote

When they got the pp berry didn't even put a power play unit out. He should be held accountable for this almost collapse too. Yikes berry. 1 Quote

jukenjive27 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 They better take this weekend as a lesson, great moments but a lot of lazy looking play and defensive mistakes 1 Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Bemidji never quits while UND went on cruise control after scoring 5th goal. Can't do that. But Bemidji is definitely good this year. 1 Quote
ArchyAlum11 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Yea the preseason really got it wrong on the WCHA this year, Bemidji was picked to be middle of the pack, and now they are ranked and at the top of the WCHA, Really hope they stay in the top 20 after this weekend. 1 Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Bemidji always plays us tough not worried just glad we pulled out the sweep 4 Quote

Popular Post Wilbur Posted October 23, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2016 Thoughts: -Last 15 was crap. Get up 5-1 and coast, the Beavers still played hard. -Line combos seem to be gelling. Heavy line with Yon, could be good. -Love the energy from Joel Janatuinen. Runs around a bit, but plays on the edge and does everything fast. -We were told the defense was going to be a work in progress, so chalk it up to growing pains I guess. I thought Casey Johnson rebounded from yesterday and was better. Peski needs to just relax. The game is so fast for him right now, but a credit to the coaching staff in talking to him after every shift positive or negative. He just needs to be a sponge every minute at the rink. -Wife cut me off, donut time at 10:30. #pregnantwivesmatter 5 Quote
bcblues Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 The defense is a work in progress. But for Christ sake put a little effort into it, man! The last 15 minutes were painful for UND fans, and frankly an embarrassment. Now I can't say if it was the coaching staff telling them to "just chill", or if it was a mass hysteria at getting up by a decent number against a decent team. So, if it is a work in progress, we better get to work. 3 Quote
Popular Post Blackheart Posted October 23, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2016 Highlights of this weekend's sweep for the Blackheart family.... - Boeser's hatty friday nite - Driving to Park River for a quick daytrip Saturday morning - Watching the kids get on the jumbotron and TV during both games - Getting to see the Circle o' Sticks after a closer than it should have been Saturday win - Seeing how excited both of my boys were when Brad Berry took the time to sign a jersey and a banner for them after his postgame interview with Hennessy. Classy coach running a class program. Kudos to you Brad! 9 Quote

Oxbow6 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Being blunt but can not ever recall a UND D-man with a worse weekend then Peski. Casey still looks lost in good chuncks too but looked better last night. Wolanin needs to be ready next weekend hopefully. Gage is struggling too. The Poolmans are rock solid and Shaw was steady. Bowen at D? If not he shouldn't be a healthy forward scratch from here on out. Need a wing to play with the Euros. Bowen there? Quote

I seem to recall a young Chay Genoway with a -5 Saturday evening against UNH or Maine a number of years ago...that was a rough weekend. Worse than that? 1 Quote

Kids young, his first two periods were solid last night. Peski is a much better dman than Bowen. 1 Quote

Bottom line Peski sees very little ice when Wolanin gets back and everyone on the blue line stays healthy. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Wilke has to start to doing something....... anything. JJ and Hoff are playing too well this early in the season not to have a 3rd capable linemate. He came in as a big time goal scorer. "Buehler...............Buehler.............." 1 Quote
