stoneySIOUX
Let's get it going, again! Beavs will test us, for sure, but will we do the same? http://bit.ly/2duW3hw DDC says 4-2, good guys in the better kind of green... top line gets rolling. Oxbow6
UND has had bad starts in it's last 2 games...... If it's 3 poor starts in a row BSU wins 3-2. If UND plays well from the drop of the puck UND wins 3-1.

yelo09
The Beavs always seem to steal one from us and their netminder is solid…BSU 3 UND 1 Will be good for these young guys and we’ll bounce back tomorrow I like the two home games…Berry has been preaching up and down play all week and need to put the puck on net against their D .. finally sinks in Sat…we out shoot BSU 3 to 1 and win 2-
SiouxTupa
If BSU gets a win this weekend, I think it happens tonight. I'll agree with Yelo and say 3-1 BSU with an ENG to seal it.

Popular Post Oxbow6
UND has yet to lose at home this year when I crush my usual grinder + a taco from the RP...................I'll hold up my end of that deal.
Popular Post stoneySIOUX
Kind of a tough crowd for a team that's the defending national champion, currently undefeated, playing at home, has out shot opponents 118-42, out scored opponents 15-3 and playing a team that we've lost to a grand total of 2 times EVER. I get it, they're good, but why are we expected to take a step back? Other than "they're coming in hot" (so are we), "they play us tough" (so do we to them and we are more talented) and "Bitzer is playing well" (so is Cam), what are the reasons that we shouldn't be sweeping Bemidji? Honestly, no disrespect to the Beavs, but what the heck?!

The Steph Pattyn year, I got a dacqueri at a game and they scored 3 goals during it's existence. I did that successfully like 7 more times before the mojo ran out. It's not weird if it works.

That is 3 goals in the period following the intermission it was ordered. Its a remarkable feat really.

Honestly, no disrespect to the Beavs, but what the heck?! Probably more that with younger players it is sometimes harder to believe that you can get beat until you actually get beat. Kind of like the second game against Canisius when everybody warned that the second night would be very difficult, yet it took them quite some time to finally pull away. Bemidji is much more mature age wise and experience in what they have to do to win. Not saying that means Bemidji is going to win, just a reason why some people think that they have a good possibility to win. The fact that they have less experienced defensemen is hopefully a plus for UND. Hopefully our skill sets them back a bit early and breaks their confidence a bit. Regardless, I certainly don't want to hear any of our players say after the game that they weren't ready for the game Bemidji is going to bring. I am hoping the Canisius series helped with how competitive it will be each night, and that a loss isn't a necessary learning curve.

Do I want to see a SIOUX sweep…ubetcha…BSU has always played us tough and is used to playing in the Ralph…and is mostly juniors and seniors in their mid 20s …. I think BSU will hold it’s own nationally so a loss shouldn’t hurt us too much in pairwise and might be the kick in the shorts these kids need …preach fast start and end to end play all you want until these young’ins experience it won’t sink in …I would rather take a loss this weekend then get swept by UMD because our kids haven’t been grounded yet…

Honestly, no disrespect to the Beavs, but what the heck?! Bemidji is playing just as well on the ice as they are on paper. What's quoted are opinions believed by many, but they are truly playing quality hockey. That's in no way discrediting the success that OUR boys are experiencing, but when we're talking about BSU, it's because at that time BSU is the primary focus. I've personally assumed the mindset of Bubs and the boys by saying this is one game at a time. We're expecting a fight out of Bemidji as they've brought one in years past. They are and have been a rival and they will always approach this series with a hungry mentality. Hopefully we can get the sweep, but we certainly can't expect it to come easy.
