Risky Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Not a good half of basketball. Geno had a bad half, we had silly turnovers, bad free shooting, and no Hooker. That doesn't make for good ball. Doesn't look like the team I have been watching lately. Got to pick it up. Sometimes I think other teams like it when Drick is taking it to the basket. They aren't afraid to foul him because they know he only makes about a third of them. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Team looks unfocused and slow. Doesn't surprise me given this is a big road game; Jones doesn't know how to motivate & lead his team in such situations. Home atmosphere does the trick for him when in Grand Forks, but on the road Jones' aloof demeanor doesn't help UND. 1 Quote
sioux2013 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hooker 1-8 and Geno 1-5 and we are only down 10 and still very much in this especially if Hooker gets hot. 1 Quote
F'n Hawks Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 It has been the same thing on the road for 10 years with jones... Wash... Rinse... Repeat 2 Quote
Cratter Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Still waiting for UND to ever win at Montana. Quote
Cratter Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Griz 20 point lead (About how many points UND has scored the whole game) 14 minutes left in the second. Quote

UND1983 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Two points through 7 8 9 minutes of second half. Damn. They were playing so well coming in but apparently Montana at home is another thing. Quote
Risky Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Is Hooker sick? Looks like the team might of got some bad food. Bad night at the office. Quote

UND1983 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Jones is sitting down. First time I can remember he has sat down in a game.....and gave up. Wow. Quote
Cratter Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 With ten minutes left in the game, Montana has twice as many points as UND. Quote

But remember, all Jones does is put together a line-up card and then sit back and watch. He isn't out there playing, so nothing that happens is on him (sarcasm). This team teases us with signs of progress and then pulls this crap. 1 Quote
UND1983 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Thank the lord for Avants. Kid just scored 5 in a row. Quote
Kab Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Like the Vikings do this is what jones does where the hell was the game plan Quote
Dagger Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hooker was the national player of week and has 2 points tonight. What's up? Quote

UND-FB-FAN Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Bad situation. Even though we are again being reminded how horrible Jones' squads are in big situations, Jones has likely done enough to keep his job after the season. That's just too bad. UND needs to improve MBB leadership at the top. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 MSUM is done for the season. Just saying.......... Quote
Risky Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I hope Jones has no flimsy excuses in post game. Almost no one on the team showed up. Avants was great though. 1 Quote
