The most important aspect to these recent classes compared to Mussman's is fewer misses. Muss brought in some really good high end players at a few positions but whiffed horrifically at other positions. Bubba makes his scholarships count.

Couldn't agree more.  Bubba seems to read kids so much better, as he has a knack for getting kids that are actually committed to hard work.

Might hurt you to say this, but Lennon's last year's weren't so great either.  The AD cut back on budgets and the XDSU'S really got the prime prospects.  That has changed now.

Also, nice to see the Colorado commits bypass UNC....what say you now northern Colorado Bear (or whatever your username is)?

"We didn't want him anyway." :silly:

Gopher hockey fans have used that one for years, so expect something similar.

Good size at 6'2", 185 lbs. Played both RB / WR as well as on Defense. Stats don't blow you away, more receiving yards than rushing. 26 Tackles and 2 INTs on defense also returned Punts and Kickoffs. I haven't seen him play, but love his size and that he played 3 different positions. Get an athlete with good size and probably pretty good wheels and coach him up!

Watched his hudl. He's a very good looking athlete. Its another addition to UND's roster that appears big-time!

Getting kids to camps and evaluating them has been the biggest difference for UND.  Our attendance numbers for camps the last few years has been outstanding.

Couldn't agree more; it's one of the biggest differences between Mussman regime and the current one under Bubba. Recruiting camps allow you to recruit a lot of intangibles not seen on tape and that has led to much better recruiting classes for UND since Bubba has been here. John Santiago is one such example of a player that is here at UND due to UND's summer camps.

See comments on camps. Take it to the bank.

I have an idea, but I'm not sure if I'm correct :)

I think this is the biggest single need on next years roster. Someone that can back up Studsrud and potentially start the next year.

Yeah, we won't hold you to it, if you are wrong. Well, we might, but tell us anyway.

Had some time and looked up his stats

Andrew Zimmerman - #9 - QB - Fresno

10 games played, 1351 total yards, 17 TD, 135.1 yds/gm

51.8 % completion rating, 4 Int, sacked 8 times

His stats are a little deceiving, since his team split time at QB. His first two games he had a total of 6 passing attempts, for 5 yards.

So when does Bubba and the rest of the coaching staff get their well deserved raises?!!
