Defensively we are getting much closer, still need to work on the pass defense. Special teams are spotty but not terrible. The offense is pathetic. Really need to beef up the oline and find a decent QB along with some RB's and WR's. I still think we can compete in the BSC at least with all but the very top teams. On defense, I thought I was watching the Mussman era, playing 10 yards off of receivers with no aggressiveness to try for turnovers. Way too much respect for the Bison. I would much rather get beat being aggressive, so let's at least see if we can win the second half and be competitive when we play to win. It also works when a team has shown they are constantly trying to establish the run, even if they dont. Everytime you see two in the backfield you know UND is gonna run it.
