This team has shown up.  A few things haven't gone their way, but they tilted the ice back as the period went on.  The Sioux PP looked great, but no goal.  Then BU's last PP, no zone time, harmless shot goes in.  I am keeping the faith.  Also, the team won't quit.

Blaming Hak here is just a scapegoat. The first goal was because the guys didn't clear the puck on multiple opportunities. Second was because of a BS PP. Still two periods, step it up

Vs St Cloud we broke out thru middle of ice. Tonight chipping it off glass...again.

Stubborn Hak on bench??

We're behind the BU goal, and we're noticing the same thing. Open lane to the net, but the Sioux player just goes to the corner over and over.

Maybe get a new coach just for the F4?

OK. That was funny! Thanks for the laugh. I will keep my other thoughts to myself. Sioux are getting beat all over the place.

I didn't give the Sioux a chance after the first 10 min but they did a good job of getting their skates under them.  They still seem to struggle with the puck, and the difference in these teams is that when the puck squirted through traffic the talented BU player was able to corral it on his backhand and score into the open net.   When that happened on our PP it slipped by Schmaltz before he noticed it....missed opportunity.

And Zane had to make that save.  Coaches talk about "timely saves".   That was a bogus penalty, and even more reason why Zane has to save that shot.

Fortunately there is a lot of game left, and if the Sioux keep this going they should have some chances to score and maybe tie it up.  Seems like it would be a great thing if we can stay out of the box going forward.

It seems like it's a combination of mishaps:

officiating, not converting close-in by our guys, getting beat to the puck, soft goals, same tired coaching strategy of chipping it off the glass..

Gotta get the next goal, or we're in big trouble.
