geaux_sioux Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I hope we get the Gophers that'll Fire the team up Quote
ihatethegophers Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Me too, I would rather play them in Fargo in front of the home crowd. Plus it is exciting hockey. Isn't that the whole point? Quote
brianvf Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Getting the Gophers would assume that we win the first game...not a given after this weekend's debacle. 1 Quote

Vegas_Sioux Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Umd and Minnesota that's a tough opener. Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 idk how i feel about playing quinnipiac don't they have a pretty good goaltender Quote
keikla Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Even though Providence is a lower seed, Miami gets hosed playing them in their backyard. A little surprised they avoided all NCHC first round match ups. No one would have blamed them with 6 teams in the tourney. Crazy how difficult some of these regionals look. Quote
keikla Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 idk how i feel about playing quinnipiac don't they have a pretty good goaltender Not sure. The selection show broadcast said they're pretty banged up right now. Quote
Emerald joker Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 idk how i feel about playing quinnipiac don't they have a pretty good goaltender "Hot goalie", we should be more than used to that, just as long as the Sioux doesnt hit a bunch of posts Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Like the draw we got and that we play the late game. My predictions were pretty close just had Minnesota in South Bend, BC in Manchester, and Harvard in Providence. With the other moves the committee made I don't get why they didn't also swap Minnesota with Harvard. Quote
burd Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Sioux fans certainly can't complain about that regional Quote
NewUNDAlum Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I'm pleased with how our regional ended up but St. Cloud scares me. Quote
01grad Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Anybody find what the television schedule is for the finals? NE 4:30 Sat. West 8:00 Sat. East 4:00 Sun. MW 6:30 Sun. Quote
jjensen Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 idk how i feel about playing quinnipiac don't they have a pretty good goaltender His numbers are pretty comparable to Zane's. Zane - 2.05 GAA 92.9% in 39 games. Michael Gartieg - 2.00 GAA 91.8% in 35 games. Sam Anas is probably there best player but Bucci said he was questionable for the game. Matthew Peca and Landon Smith are also pretty good but don't think they have too much after that. Don't quite know if they have the depth at D that can hang with is either. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 With the other moves the committee made I don't get why they didn't also swap Minnesota with Harvard. Agree. That single difference from what they did could have significantly helped attendance in South Bend (and saved HU a flight; UMTC was flying either way). Quote
