like the boxes on the ground level...where i was sitting couldn't see if there was a fourth one where the visiting team comes out?

but i loved the "hop" into those stands by Hromadka

it needs a name like the lambeau leap....name it after the building or the guy...

ideas?

I think some of our players used to do this in the Division II glory days (2001-2005). And I think someone in the media at the time called it the Alerus Leap.

it might be interesting to see the contract.. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 12+ years and it’s not a new complaint.  It would be nice to have some attention to detail type folks take over for a while.

The recipe isn’t all that complicated

1) cool intro video 

2) Schmidty leading out the boys from the locker room to the field with a cool song

3) lean into the 701 with the ND flags running out on the field with some lights/pyro.. 

4) national anthem 

5) win game

PA on the home side seemed to be out for the 1st half, and very hard to hear in the second half. I do recall some indication of which player made the play a few years ago on the two big endzone jumbotrons, that seems to be gone. Alerus production is definitely lacking and in some respects getting worse. I like leaning into the State of ND, and the ND flags for every player. I think UND lost sight of the fact that they represent the entire state some years ago, you get outside of the RRV and it's all Bison, so, in that vein, I like the run-out. Other than that, if you can't get the place that dark, turning off the lights is pointless unless you're going to do some green smoke or change the lighting in the tunnel, reminds me of trying to sleep with the hallway light on. Lose the Hawk in the car. Cheesy. Step up the hype video. Just make it more...bad ass, I guess. Hawks...Free Bird solo like team USA when they score a goal, IDK? Something. I hate the Bison, but they kill their intro. Other suggestion, cover up the endzone bleachers that are pushed in with something UND related. Looks horrible.

Free Bird would be a great song for TD’s. Start song around 4:46.

I actually believe the most important step is to hire some people that give a crap about the fact that the intro sucks and make it their job to fix it.

Not gonna lie, this has potential based on the fact the lyrics including “Free Bird” make a ton of sense with a video and tunnel walk featuring the fighting hawk in some fashion….

but let’s see how unique and innovative and novel the UND folks get with this …. I’m going to hold my applause til I see it …
