It's kind of a chicken or egg thing.  A full crown cheering as the team runs out helps with the entrance, but fans need to have a reason to be in their sit before kick off.

If you look at all great entrances the crown is full and is yelling a screaming as the team enters.  1/2 the crown is still in the concourse or trying to get into the game when UND is running onto the field.

We are not even asking for some elaborate entrance. I want to say early in the Bubba era, they showed the tunnel walk and ran out to Welcome to the Jungle. It can’t be that hard to do something similar again.

My big thing is nailing the hype video. I know last year there was one video they showed with like 5 mins before the game and that one was very good but the actual one they showed right before the team ran out stunk.

How about the team focuses on the game, the job at hand, and what they're there for. I want to see intensity and focus. If I want to interact with the team I'll watch the "hawk walk" or attend one of the media/ fan events.  The team can control the game experience, excitement, and atmosphere by doing their jobs on the field.

I don't need or want them glad handing the crowd like a bunch of clowns.  Once they're in the building it better be about winning. Period.

It does take way too long to get into the Alerus. Line out into the parking lot is a mix of people with tickets, buying tickets and picking up tickets. Better signage? Separate doors?  More metal detectors for sure.Think there were only 2 on Saturday?  Line for the other/student side was even longer.

They should have a visual scan line where you're dressed such that it's obvious you're not "packing" and you are just waived in.

i kinda agree...seems like everyone wants to reinvent the wheel....walkup are walkups...the montana state one...yeah...quick and easy.

just pointing out clemson's "driveup" was probably made fun of when the idea was floated

like the boxes on the ground level...where i was sitting couldn't see if there was a fourth one where the visiting team comes out?

but i loved the "hop" into those stands by Hromadka

it needs a name like the lambeau leap....name it after the building or the guy...

ideas?

I think some of our players used to do this in the Division II glory days (2001-2005). And I think someone in the media at the time called it the Alerus Leap.

I’m sure the Fargodome runs the audio for the bison games.. they seem to be able to figure it out every week.

it might be interesting to see the contract.. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 12+ years and it’s not a new complaint.  It would be nice to have some attention to detail type folks take over for a while.
