Feff Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 With how this game has been, I just hope we don't get swept at home. UMD has dominated play most of the night. Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Gut check time tonight. Boys looked bad, excluding McIntyre. Quote
bcblues Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Damn, I though we could win at least the first. We CANNOT let the sweep up! GO SIOUX!!!! Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Sandy had his boys ready that's for sure. I really like their motivation. They sure bring it. We really could have used that one. 1 Quote
Snake Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I don't see us winning tomorrow if we can't figure out how to break the puck out better and also keep the puck for longer than 5 seconds in the offensive zone. Quote
cberkas Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I'm done with Mattson and Murphy. I'd rather see Panz play over these two. Quote

OETKB Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 ND was an average team (if even that) today. Way too many poor passes, falling down for no reason, coughing up the puck by skating directly into traffic. Just not inspired hockey at all tonight. Boys looked rusty at best. Quote
Ronix Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Mattson shouldn't be playing those last few minutes looked pathetic by a senior. Heres to a speedy recover to Stecher, glad to hear he is skating at least. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Ring count please?? What's my record of starting threads buds Quote
neoflex Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 There's always next year. I get the sarcasm...but this was arguably our worst performance of the year. Not a god way to start the 2nd half. Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 OK he sucks too then. Better? None that play happens if Nick chips deep. Period. My apologies, I was talking about the second goal. Quote
OETKB Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 This game was soft in the D zone, too. I was waiting to see some more physical plays, but it just was not happening. Soft. Quote
808287 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Just listened to the coach's comments and I usually don't harp on Hak but... He said that the game turned on the second period play. Well...yes, we didn't have the best second period ever, that's for sure. But we had a tie game with 10 min left in the third. That said, I look for a better effort from our Seniors tomorrow night. GO SIOUX!!! Quote
Cratter Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I get the sarcasm...but this was arguably our worst performance of the year. Not a god way to start the 2nd half. Wasn't completely sarcasm. I hate every loss because I have high expectations and its been the longest championship drought in UND hockey history. #butparity Quote
OETKB Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 6-3-2 record at home. Not exactly a "#1 in the nation" kind of record. But then again, UND will not be #1 anymore. This team is capable of playing a hell of a lot better than tonight, though. SOFT FRIDAYS need to go away. Also just looked at the lines again. No idea what Hak was thinking by switching them all around - certainly did not work. I expect to see Cags up on #1 line again, and Murphy/Mattson replaced by Sanderson/Panz. 3 Quote
Sodbuster Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I need to go gargle......this game left a bad taste in my mouth. 1 Quote

Agreed, except for the 2nd half of the last sentence. Quote
rochsioux Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Sandy is a good coach and a great recruiter. If he is such a good coach and great recruiter why after 15 years at Duluth is his overall record just a few games above .500 ? 1 Quote
